Amanda Perspective

"Dad"

One month and two weeks as passed, and he only arrives today quite shocking. I stood up to stare at man I call father disappointed, and all this negative feeling made hate him because what is there to like from this man.

"What are you doing here?" I asked

He didn't look me in the eye only staring at his son who laid down into slumber where we await his awake.

"How is he?" He ignores me I didn't know what to say just disgusted wasn't sure this was the father who raised me.

"I asked why are you doing here when you had the chance a month ago." I felt like killing the man, but I couldn't even do it if I can. "I don't like repeating myself Amanda." His stern voice gave me a chill running down on my spine.

"I don't recall you answering mine." I glare at my own father, but staring right at his ruthless eyes that always shaken the earth to their victims had its effect on me.

After all, even if I am his daughter this always had its impact to everybody.

He slightly laughs scratching his neck sighing as he rests his hand in his pockets. "Amanda, I don't have time for your childish games and just tell me how his condition is." I couldn't myself to laugh shaking my head not believing what his saying.

Like How could he!? Like what the hell- is he even serious right know!

"Games? You literally could have just-" Melissa enters the room with the doctor besides her. She has a sad smile on her face holding back her tears "Hey sweetie." She gave me a warm huge that felt different compared to my dad cold presences similar to my mom's, but then it was different from the woman who raised you.

My father's presence is always distant but his unease energy from walking out of the room bothered me by his actions even more.

His been distant for some odd reason lately especially since his divorce with mom.

"How stupid of him" Melissa sighs just hearing my words. She walks closer towards me away from Jodie. "Amanda, you don't mean it." Her eyes bore into mine especially when she gave me The Look.

"Melissa, it could have been easier if he acted as if he literally cares about his son."

"I know sweetie but as his daughter and I cannot stand the tension when we are all going through this." She held both my hands squeezing them softly, she clears her throat making me look into her glossy eyes seconds away from unleashing her tears.
