Lisa
"Look, you don't want to do this."
"Oh honey, yes I do," Helen says, licking her lips, as she finishes duct taping me to the bed posts. She's got steak knives in both of her hands and is laughing. Not a good sign.
"Basil was with me while you were kidnapped, technically he left me to go back to you, or cheated on me with you since I was at that point pregnant, although it really isn't cheating or anything like that because technically he's polyamorous owww okay you don't care," I say the last bit as she puts a knife to my throat.
"No, no I don't. because he's going to think twice after he finds my name carved into your face," she hisses, "I won't even make you do it. I'll just make him rape you when he gets back."
"We both have his children, please lets just talk. If you loved him like you claim you wouldn't do this," I whisper, a tear leaking out of my eye unbidden. Please Basil where are you? Thank god the kids are still at recital. They'll be waiting for me to pick them up and I won't come. I just hope I'll be alive. Sol needs me. Luna doesn't really need me but she'd probably be emotionally damaged if something happened to me and I don't want that. Not my precious babies. Yes the product of an affair but I love them more than anything.
"I do love him. He belongs to me. And he needs to learn how to behave," Helen says, pressing the knife against my chests, "Do you think he'll think you still look pretty if I cut your breasts off?"
"I think whatever you do tonight is only going to drive him farther away from you," I say, my voice cracking, as her knife begins to draw blood.
"Well, we're certainly going to find out."
