Cronus
So Death and Life have become one. In their home, deep beneath the world, they have no fear of on lookers and no desire to cover their windows. She goes to his arms willingly as they are hers, kissing his cold skin with pure desire. It's too late. No wonder my creatures abandon me. They are bound obey their master but they do love their sweet mistress, the only living thing down there, bringing beauty to all that she touches. She moves in his arms, accustomed to them, full of nothing but youth and love for her husband.
He can take my night forces from me, but not knowing I'm here and distracted with his living bride I doubt if he'll bother. I may have some time yet. But not much. Life and Death have already found one another. What's next, War has been set loose upon the world? Famine will soon wreak her doom when she discovers the darkness has stolen away her sweet daughter.
No matter. I need to get moving if I want to save myself, let alone the world. I would separate these two, but they are stronger together that can wait. First I must divide the others, and see what other damage has already been caused. If Storm's twin hellions, masters of day and night, have already been born all is truly lost. But I am going to keep trying. I have no other choice. It is that or accept destruction of the world. I've already lost my family, my home. Others don't need to suffer the same fate.
All right. Time to return to the world of the living. I've been too long from there as it is. I need to ascertain what other damage has been done. There is no way to destroy them together. I doubt if I can even defeat Death now that he has her by his side.
But the Storm's children are born, some of them at least. While they are young it will certainly be easy to prey upon them. Especially the bastards he doesn't even know he has. Taking them out one by one, will put the others on edge.
