Hector
Something odd is in the air tonight. It's like it's charged. Not with sadness, and death, though. Not with what I feed off of. Something else entirely. I resolve not to care. It's time to go home soon. I'm just waiting now.
"There you are—sorry," Jasmine skips up to me, her dark hair pulled back now fully from her face, "I didn't think my mom would ever go to bed."
"No it's fine, you don't want to stay?" I ask, putting my hands on her arms. I don't want her to stay but.
"No, silly, I want to come with you, I feel better," she says, leaning into my me and gently leaning up to kiss my lips with her pure ones.
"Are you sure?" I ask, kissing her back but only a little. I'll feel safer loving her in the Underworld.
"Yes, I'm positive. Take me home," she says, crawling into my arms and kissing me harder.
"As you wish," I say, returning us to our bedroom in my mansion in the underworld. She continues to kiss me, starting to unbutton my shirt and vest.
"You're not too tired after today," I ask, stroking her smooth face.
"No, I want you. I feel fine here," she says, kissing me again, "You can tear my dress I don't care I hate it now."
"Why?" I ask, my hands running over the spongy cotton as I gently pull it over her head.
"I don't even know," she says, climbing on top of me as she pushes me back down on the black comforter. "I hate going home."
"Good I love you here with me. Forever," I say, playing with a bit of hair that came loose, then putting my hands on her cool skin. She's wearing a light green bra, with lace on it. I take that off as well, kissing her skin as I do.
"Then I'll stay forever. Not my father, no one can take me away again, not so long as I'm yours," she says, sliding my pants off. Her skin is cold.
"You're freezing," I say, feeling for a blanket to wrap around her.
"Then warm me up."
"I think I can manage that, my lady," I say, pulling a black velvet blanket over us as I continue to hold her. It's like holding the sun against me. And nothing at all is more perfect than making love to her as I feel this epitome of life and beauty pulsing in my arms, knowing that I'm not alone here in this world that is forever mine. As she is forever mine my queen my everything.
