Chapter 30

"Youre WHAT?" Y/n s father said as he came down the stairs.
Y/n shivered at the sight of her father and took steps back till she hit taehyung's chest. He held her.
"Im pregnant " y/n said with her head hung low.
"And im assuming this guy right here is the father."
Taehyung nodded and looked down too.
"Didnt I ask you to not mess up with my daughter, young man?"
"We used protection, I dont know how it happened but we've decided to keep the child."
"You whatttt? To ruin both of your lives and careers?"
"Dad, we will be fine."
"Fine? Do you know how much money it takes to raise a child? You're just 19...where will you get all the money to?"
"I'll start working somewhere again. I dunno dad, but i--"
"Are you sure y/n? Are you sure you'll be fine and you'll be able to take care of it? Its your own child and I think you get to decide whether you keep it or not. But think properly before you decide anything, okay sweetheart?"her mom said and whispered into her ears.  "I'll talk to your dad. Don't worry. Just take care of yourself okay?"
Y/n sighed and sat down on her couch.
"Does your parents know about it?"
"Not till now. We were supposed to move-----ill go home and tell  them."
"Youre supposed to move? Like in some other country? And my y/n is--"
"Was, mr. Min. After hearing from her, I decided to not go. I'll be with her, here."
Youre just a disappointment y/n. Just because we let you do what you want doesn't mean you can go and have a baby with a stranger guy. You ruin your life. You ruin our lives.
Y/n felt herself getting discouraged with every  word her father said. Could she actually keep the baby? She looked at taehyung. Would he actually be there always? Would she have to do everything one handed-ly?
"No love. I'll be there for you. You won't have to do anythung alone. We are in this together. Gawd I cant believe im gona be a father. And believe me, y/n youre gonna be an excellent mother, ik y/n." He said and hugged her.
Y/n didn't want to let go. She needed him with her right now. But he had to go and inform his parents too. So she slowly pulled back and said.
"Won't you go home and tell  your--"
"Oh yes, I have to. Will you be fine here? Ill be back in an hour. Or do you wanna come with me?"
"I'll be fine. Come back soon though."
Y/n stared at the door till he left. She sat there, not sure of what she should do. She saw her mom coming down the stairs and she sat up. She saw her go into the kitchen without speaking a word with her. Yeah ofcourse, she was allowed to get angry. She felt tired and thus, laid down on the sofa Caressing her hands on her belly and smiling at times.
"Y/n dear. Eat up."
She got up to see her mom sitting beside her with a glass of milk and some fruits.
"Mom, I hate these fruits."
"I know, but the baby inside you needs nutrition to grow. You need to eat up properly and take care of yourself."
"Mom....im so sorry."she hugged her tight and Mrs. Min caressed her hair.
"Now you will know how hard it is to be a mom.  It is a beautiful experience, the most beautiful one on earth. But its tough, its challenging.  I hope my small y/n has grown up enough to handle all the responsibilities. I trust you, I believe you'll be a great mom."
"You think? What about dad? Did you umm...talk to him?"
"He is a bit upset. But he will be fine. He loves you sweetie. He will take your side even if you've done the worst of mistakes. Thats parenthood, we scold, we shout at you, but in the end, we will be there for you. And so will taehyung.  I know him. He is gonna be there for you too."
Y/n just nodded and drank her milk.
"Get some good sleep after you're done with today's work okay?"
"Yes mom. And thank you so much."
She smiled and kissed her hands. They heard the door know turning and taehyung came in, he contemplated coming in after seeing Mrs. Min. Mom went to him and locked the door behind him. She smiled at him and went back to the kitchen.
"Taehyung...what happened?"
"They agreed on me staying here. But they have to go for their work. So I guess I have to stay alone. Anyways, ill be here for you anytime you want me. 24×7 at your service maam. You want to eat something, you'll tell me. You want to go somewhere you tell me. I'm always here."
Y/n laughed and said,
"Awww we see a ready dad here, huh? Our child will be brought up well by us, I see. But......Are you gonna be fine living on your own,tae?"
"Look at the positive side of it, I get to be with you. And Ahhh yes im used to living alone. Its lonely....unless....
"Unlesss?"y/n asked confused.
He sat down on his knees and took her hands in his.
"Unless you move in with me."
