Chapter 23

She sipped on the coffee.
"So, tell me about yourself, min y/n."
"Ahh there's nothing much to know about me just a simple and ordinary girl, living an ordinary life."
"No adventures?"
"Yet to have them, ig. "
She smiled before saying, "Wanna know about my life?"
I simply nodded before continuing to have the coffee.
"5 years ago, I moved to Korea, Seoul. I'm Korean ofcourse, but I was born and brought up in Canada. My father admitted me to this school. Due to the fact that my father has a transferable job, I never really had friends in school. I had to move before we could bond with each other.
But this school holds a really big place in my heart as I met taehyung here, he was a friend I'd never found. We did date and though it lasted for a year, yet it was the most beautiful time of my life. Taehyung did date me, but I wasnt his priority, he had a girl he loved and I'm guessing he still loves her. He never told me her name but told me that he really loved her, that she was an angel in his life. But the fact was, he couldnt date her because she had a boyfriend and her boyfriend was a bully. He never gave up on her. I had to move out again after an year, I was scared I'd loose him, a friend like him. I thought he'd wait for me, he'd still love me the same. I realise it was my wrong, I dated Soobin the time I spend in Canada. He was a generous guy. I'm so sorry I didnt know about yours and soobin's story." She stopped to look at me.
I just nodded with a "it's fine."
"I did date him. He was a good guy, no doubt, but not as good and understanding as taehyung.So I always longed to return to him, but now I realise things always dont go the way you want it to. Things have changed now, taehyung has moved on. He has a girlfriend now, a better person than I was. And I am happy for you two. Yeah I did hate you for a short span of time, but then i thought about it and realised I shouldnt be so selfish. So yeahh, that's my life. I'm back here and soobin and I are not dating anymore. And I merely want to be a friend in your life, y/n. If you dont want to be, I totally understand. I'm sorry for the times I've been rude to you. But friendship is all I can ask for."
"I totally understand you jennie, but will it be okay for you if you see us together? If you are fine with it....I'm fine too."I said with a smile.
"Yes, I'll be fine. Btw, you guys look cute together. And you kinda remind me of his love. I mean his description kinda matches you."
My jaws dropped.
"Uhhh thanks, but what?"
"I'm almost sure but ask taehyung as I'm not completely sure. He never told me her name."
"Sure."
She got up and so did I.
"Come. Let's take a cab to your house." She said. I'm sorry to say but why cant I still believe her? I mean, she was honest with whatever she said today but I'm still not convinced.
"Dont worry about me. You go on, I have some shopping to do so I'll see you later?"
"Kay then, bye y/n."
"Annyeong."I waved until she went out of sight.
I looked at the watch. It was 8 o'clock. I could just walk back home. It was not that late. I crossed the road and started walking back home. I took out my phone and saw 10 missed calls from tae. I smiled unconsciously and called him.
"Wow, seems like you completely forgot about me, miss min y/n."
"Sure I did, mr. kim taehyung."
I could hear him chuckling over the phone.
"So?"
"What so?"
"I have good news for you."
"And that is?"
"Results of the talent contest are out."
"Whaaaaat???? Already?"
He nodded over the phone.
"I'm at your house with the results. How long until you'll be back?"
"What are you doing in my house?"
"Waiting for you, ofcourse."
"Ohh ohkay."
"Cant you just walk me back home?"
"As you wish babygirl."
And from nowhere taehyung popped out walking beside me.
"Woahhh what da actual fork?"
"I've been walking behind you since you left the cafe. You're so immersed in talking with your boyfriend over the phone that you never realised someone is following you, y/n."
"Daebak. I'm so proud I'm dating a professional stalker."
"Look who's talking."
"LOL:-) You know I've always had a fantassy to---"
Before I could speak I felt his warm body backhugging me and he nuzzled near my neck.
"To?"he replied with a deep voice.
"To....ummm make out with my stalker."
I could feel the smirk in his face listening to my words.
"I had the same fantassy you know?"
"Of course you would."I said unknowingly smirking.
Silence followed our words.
"And about the talent contest....well guess what?"
"We got some rank?"
"I'll just read it out."
I hummed in response.
"Congrtulations to miss y/n and kim taehyung for winning the first position to the talent contest held on 10th may, 2020."
"Jinjaaa??? We came first?"
"Yeah babygirl, we did it!"
I turned to him and hugged him. I felt truly happy.
When I pulled back, I felt his hands still around my waist.
"Dont I deserve a kiss atleast?"
"Tae, we are in public."
"And why does that matter?"
"How stupid!"
"Its just a kiss, besides no one cares."
"Let's reach our house safely, then I'll think about it."
"The kiss? Or the makeout?"
I felt my cheeks immediately turning pink.
"The kiss of-ofcourse."
"Yeahhh."
After a 10 minute walk, we reached my house.
"I'll go for a shower. I'll be back soon, make yourself comfy."
"Sure."he said with a wink.
I rolled my eyes before entering the washroom.
The cold water running down my body was a relief. Showers always remove all my worries. After half an hour I came out of the shower changing into my favourite pjs.
I draped a towel to soak my wet hair and went to the living room where taehyung was eagerly waiting for my return. I did my night skincare routine and made myself comfortable on the sofa.
"Are you planning to sleep over here?"
"Unless you've got a problem, yes."
"Great then. What are we having for dinner?"
"Let's order something?"
"What about ramyeon?"
"And grilled chicken?"
"Sounds perfect!" I said placing the order.
"Just like you...perfect. Btw, wheres the kiss?"
"You're so adorable."
"Not always though."
"Huh?"
"I'm not ALWAYS adorable. Haha, nevermind."
I got up and made my way to sit beside him. I gathered my courage before cupping his face with my hands. Before I could kiss him, he pulled me by my waist and hovered over me. Woahhh, handsome kim, stop giving heart attacks.
"Tae what-"
"Shhhh......I just want to stare at you tonight, just you and me, under the night sky."
"How poetic! You suck at being romantic tae."
"Teach me then."
I felt tingles down my spine as he came closer and the space between us decreased.
"Teach me how to be romantic, min y/n."
"Tae-taehyung I-"
"I cant resist you anymore. "
"Tae, the food will be here anytime."
"Does that matter? I have you in front of me, the food doesnt matter anymore."
"What does that mean?"
"Why are you so clueless? That turns me on even more love."
I gulped. My body was getting numb. I couldnt speak. What the hell was happening? This was such a new feeling for me.
I felt his lips getting closer to mine and I closed my eyes, feeling the kiss. The tingling sensation of his lips with mine drove me crazy. Taehyung pulled back soon and looked at me.

"I dont mind even if you loose control tonight" I said getting up from the sofa.
Taehyung took large steps towards me and pinned me to the wall of my bedroom.
This time I kissed him first. He smiled in the kiss while his strong hands held my waist tightly, not leaving it even for a second. He pulled back shortly and smirked before planting kisses in my jaw and slowly moved down my neck. I let out slow moans at the pleasure I felt.
As soon as he let go of me, I took steps towards the bed as he followed. He took off his shirt blessing me with the most beautiful sight ever possible. I gasped seeing his beautiful toned body.

"Damn my innocent eyes." I said blushing cheek to cheek.

He smirked at me before saying....

"I love you too, kim taehyung. "
I said before hugging him tight and feeling warm under his embrace.
He placed a kiss on my forehead before hugging me tight.
