Taehyung p.o.v.
Why do I feel like y/n is hiding something from me???
And Jennie....she was talking to her in the morning.....is she up to something again?
She doesn't trust me with it? I think.....she'll tell me about it soon....I hope so y/n....I thought, looking at her.
It was the time of recess and I was descending the stairs to the canteen....
She stood there looking out of the window fidgeting frequently with her fingers.
"Y/n!!" I called.
She moved her gaze from outside to me and gave a beautiful smile that makes my entire day.
I walked to her and pulled her into a hug.
"What's wrong babygurl?"
"Nothings wrong tae...im fine...."
"Then let's go eat...I'm hungry!"
She nodded and we walked holding hands to the empty table.
Mina gasped seeing us together.
"You-you two are dating??Y/n...you-you are in a relationship?"
Y/n gave her a glare before sitting down.
"Where's our treat, y/n, tae!!! Come on...treat us...you two are finally dating....."
I smiled nodding.
"We can go on the double date now r8?" Jungkook asked with puppy eyes.
"I'm cringing kook....stop acting like a freaking puppy....you're a bunny....don't you understand?"y/n said resting her head on the table."As for the date....I think Yeahhh....we can call it a yes."
"That's my y/n.....let's plan it then...Ummm...this Friday?"
"I'm up!"
"Me too!"
"Always up, babe!"
"Kay then....sorted."
While the three of us were enjoying our food, y/n seemed anxious. She kept fidgeting with her hair and the fork. Her expression seemed anxious too.
This girl keeps forgetting that I can read her mind.
"Btw.....you two rocked it yesterday....did you hear the cheers? Damn.....I bet you'll are getting the first prize!"
"Really?" I asked and smiled, turning to y/n who faked a smile too. "I loved your performance though!"
Laughs and smiles filled the table.
"So....now that you are dating y/n...you need to follow some rules.....
Firstly, don't evar be late to dates....
Secondly, she hates spicy food.
Thirdly, she is a lazy sloth So.. ouchh!!! It hurts!"jungkook said getting his foot stamped by y/n.
"Also, she eats like a pig sooo......make sure you order enough food....for two because she doesn't share her food. That'll mostly do I guess... and if you ever want to know anything about her....I'm available 24/365!"
"Lol...ohhkay!" I said thanking him for his advices.
The rest of the day went comparatively fast and before I'd realised the last bell for the day had rung.
"Heyyy.....!" I saw Jennie waving at me from outside the door of the classroom.
First with y/n and now with me?
I can never understand what's going on inside that mind of hers.
I decided to ignore her and took the back door.
"You are still gonna ignore me taehyung? I said...I was sorry....can't we be friends at least?"
"You and I don't won't do very well as friends....we both know that r8?"
"I understand you don't trust me anymore but I can get a second chance to keep this friendship alive r8?"
"I don't really like the offer...you do have something in that mind of yours isnt it?"
"Think about it....I really want the friendship to stay...and also I've invited y/n over coffee in the evening to develop our friendship...."
"Why are you after her?"
"I really want this friendship ...I really have nothing in mind...ik it's hard to trust me anymore but this is real, tae!"
"Sorry...you don't sound very trustworthy....if something bad happens to y/n...I'll make sure you rot in prison."
She gave me a weak smile before turning around.
"Love destroys us taehyung....too much love ends up destroying everything."
She walked away leaving me in a total confused state.
What did she say about love...? It destroys us?
What did she mean by that?
Just then...I found my eyes covered with someone's fingers. Her beautiful cologne filled the air.
"What's up? Big guy! Why in such deep thoughts?"
"Shouldn't I ask you the same question...babe? You look anxious since the morning....!"i said turning towards her.
"Ummm....thats because-"
"You are gonna meet Jennie over coffee??? Y/n...are you sure you want to do this?"
"Idk...tae! I really don't...but I just feel it's rude to refuse her...when she is just asking me to meet for some harmless coffee."she said with that clueless face of hers.
"Hmmm......Just be careful okay? I'll drop you....and come to pick you up too.."
"Awwwweeee...such an over protective boyfriend I've got......"
I pecked her lips before hugging her.
"And I'm a little selfish...so I'm never gonna let you go!"
{End of taehyung p.o.v}
On reaching home I received 2 texts ....one from an unknown number and another from mom.
"Are you doing well dear? Take care of yourself. Mom loves you.....I'll be back soon dear."
"Heyyy..this is Jennie...and the address of the cafe is ...XXXXXXXXXX..see you at 6!"
I climbed to upstairs to my room and jumped on my bed.
At 5:45, the bell rang signalling the arrival of taehyung.
I paired a tank top with tight jeans and converse.
"You really sure you can go alone?"
Yeah I had decided to go alone......why bother him again to drop me At a place not really far from my house. Besides Jennie lives in my neibourhood too.
"Yes tae, besides I'm not a kid. I can go alone to a cafe which is 20 minutes away. "
"As you wish then....call me on reaching Kay?"
"What? Now you're acting like my mom."
"Till your mom is back...yeah I take your responsibility, min y/n."
"How impressive Kim taehyung!"
"I kr?"
I took a cab as I was late. And reached at 6:05 p.m. There it was the cafe. I breathed in and out before entering the cafe.
I looked around the cafe to find Jennie. While I was at it,
"Y/n....you're here!" Jennie said hugging me.
"Hi Jennie!"
"Come..let's sit there. What will you have?"
