Chapter 29

Y/n sat down on the floor after listening to Jennie. How could she be pregnant? How did this happen? What was happening? How would she handle all this? How did she mess up even bigger than taehyung?
She felt a hand on her shoulder and she looked up with tears with her eyes.
"Y/n...you fine?"
"Youre still asking me this? How can I be---?" I tried to speak but fear filled my insides.
"I know you aren't.  I want to tell you to take your time to get used to it but you said taehyung is leaving in two days...shouldn't you tell him about it?"
Y/n started breaking down into tears as soon as she heard his name. Jennie sat down beside her to console her.
"I dunno Jennie. I dunno how I'm gonna handle all this by myself, and then talking to taehyung about this..wil it stop him from going--?"
"Look first you think whether you wanna keep the baby or not. Do you?"
"How can I destroy a life inside me?"y/n said sobbing.
"Okay so you're keeping it. Thats great. Okay, now calm down and breathe, the more you cry, the worse it is for the little life inside you."
"Okay."y/n said and tried to breathe and kept on sniffing.
After half an hour of sitting and thinking, she finally calmed down.
"Call taehyung and ask him to meet you. Or you could talk about this in your house, with your family there too."
"Ohh noooo---"Y/n was scared just as the thought of it.
"Calling taehyung then?"
"Okay. I'll do it" Y/n dialed taehyung's number and put it on speaker.
"Hey love, wassup?"
"Im fine. I was just calling to......to- Umm, are you free in 3 hours?"
"I was just packing my stuff but ohkay ill be there. Where are we meeting?"
Y/n 's heart ached hearing the word packing.
"There's a cafe right across my college.  We can meet there."
"Okay then. Text me the address I'll be there. See ya."
"Yeah."
She hung up and texted him the address Jennie patted her back and helped her stand up.
"What if he refuses to take responsibility?"
"He won't I'm sure. He's the father after all. He has to take responsibility of his baby."
Y/n just nodded and they went back to class. After her classes were over, she went to meet tae in the cafe. She was so scared but Jennie told her everything was gonna be fine and she need not worry about it. She smiled and went inside. Taehyung was waiting for her inside.
"Youre 2 and a half minutes late babygirl." Taehyung said as he came to her and hugged her and kissed her cheek.
"My classes just got over. I-im sorry baby."
"Nahh its fine. I was missing you a lot anyway. I'm so happy we are meeting."
Y/n smiled as she knew tae wouldn't be happy after hearing the news. She tried to introduce the topic indirectly.
"Tae....what do you think about people of our age groups having a baby together?"
Taehyung was slurping on his coffee. He smiled at my words and whispered.
"Those lucky people. Did you know I love babies? They are just so cute adorable little beings. We should make some one day yk...it'd be great" He said and started acting like a baby.
"Hahaaa really?"
"Yes why not. The kids will have my handsomeness and youre cuteness. Awwwww I cant wait to have them with you."
"Taehyung----what if I told you we will have one soon?"
Taehyung looked at me surprised and her mouth flew open.
"What do you mean y/n?"
"I'm saying that----im pregnant taehyung."
Silence filled our table. I looked at him waiting for an answer as I got more and more anxious with every passing moment.
"Its okay...take your time. When I came to know it, I felt the same. But, say something atleast!"
"But how could this happen y/n? Are you sure? How? When?" He started panicking.
"You think I know the answers to your questions tae? Do you think I'm ready for all this? I'm at the same page of our book as you're in. I dunno about our future, I dunno when you'll come back, I dont even know how long we will be together but, I've decided to keep this baby no matter what you say." Y/n sat down from as her stomach hurt from talking too much.
Taehyung got up from his seat and came to her and sat down in front of her. Tears were welling up in her eyes yet again. He took her hands into his and asked her to look into his eyes. Y/n looked up and taehyung used  his fingers to remove a lock of hair from her face.
"Look y/n. I'm sorry, I didn't want to hurt you. Its just that we both are not at all ready for this and raising a baby in todays day takes so much money. We are both still students and ig tahts why I'm kinda scared.  I'd never never want to destroy our baby, love. I'll give it lots of love, we both will. And what makes you think we won't last? We have love, we have tenderness, we have passion, we connect heart to heart..youre the one for me. I wont ever leave your side, okay?"
"What about going to Dubai?"y/n said in a soft voice. "Will you not go?"
Taehyungs face turned pale and he looked down. After a moment he looked up again and locked his eyes with hers.
"I'll convince my parents about not going. Dont worry, ill stay here with her all this while."
"Will it be fine tae-?"
"Yes we are gonna be fine. My parents will understand I'm sure."
"Thank you...."y/n said and hugged him. He pulled her into an embrace.
"Did you talk to your parents about it?"
"Nope, I wanted to tell you first. I'm so scared to tell them about it."
We walked to my house together. On reaching, I was scared to even ring the doorbell. He rung it instead and mom opened the door.
"Ohh y/n! You're back. And there's taehyung too. A date night huh?" She said letting them enter and locking the main door.
"Umm actually mom, we have something we want to talk to you about. Is dad home?"
"He is upstairs. Whats wrong y/n ah?"
"Mom i--" She shivered at the thought of telling her mom about it. Taehyung held her hand tight  and whispered lightly 'its fine just tell her.'
She looked at her daughter with earnest eyes and caressed her cheek.
"Im pregnant. "
"Youre what?"
