Chapter 16

Her lips tasted like cream on pancakes...those lips,I've been waiting to taste for years, they taste better than I ever expected....her eyes were closed....her lips not moving but melting in mine.......
She....she is so freaking beautiful.....how is it even real? With no makeup, no artificial stuff, how can a girl look so naturally beautiful...I have no freaking idea...
Maybe because she's y/n...the girl I've been in love for years now.....maybe it's my love for her that makes her seem extra beautiful just in my eyes.
Her lips are soft and pink,her beautiful eyelashes resting on her eyes......her heavy breaths everytime I kiss her.....its just so addicting......
Just the entire sight is too beautiful and so mesmerizing to withhold...and I never want it to stop......
Because......
Because she----
She isn't pushing me away....
That means I do have  chance with her don't I?
I slowly pulled back.
Her eyes were still closed. Her cheeks had the deepest hue of pink on them-she was blushing.
After some seconds, she opened her eyes.
I stared directly into them....
What's so different about them?
Why do I always fall in love with them?
I waited for her to speak...
"Tae-taehyung-----"she sluttered.
"Yeah?"
"Did we just-"
That innocent face makes me want to kiss her again. I fight the urge.
"Yeah,we kissed....practically it's not "we".... I kissed you.." I said.
"You-you like me?" She asked.
Like you?
That's the biggest understatement of the century.
I love you...
I've been in love with you since I dont know when...
"Isn't that obvious? Yeah i do."I said caressing her cheek.
"Taehyung-"she said looking up.
"Its okay even if you dont like me back.....I'm willing to wait."
Ofcourse it wasnt okay...
What if she rejects me?
"Taehyung..I-"
I looked at her.
"Yeah?" I whispered.
"I...like you too."she said looking down.
My heart stopped beating....it would come out of his chest if his heartbeats continued being so loud.
Did she just say she likes me?
Min y/n... the love of my life.....likes me back?
I must be dreaming.....
Or I aren't?
I pinched myself and she softly giggled to that.
"Ohhh tae..I'm not lying....its okay...you're not dreaming, dont pinch yourself."she said, honey dropping from her voice.
"You-you really like me?I asked.
"You heard me....."
"Y/n....say it once more."I said.
I couldnt believe my ears.
"Ughhh...I didnt think you'd be deaf...duh!!!!"
"I miss the cute and clueless y/n already..."I said.
Now that her sassy self was back.
"Clueless??? When-"
"When I kissed you...you should've seen your face...it looked like a lost puppy."
"I love puppies...they're cute."
"Not as cute as you." I replied, blushing....
"Ohhh shut up...."
"M...not lying...and also your lips taste like pancakes....did you  have them in breakfast?" I giggled....I couldnt get my mind off the taste.
"Ahhhh...yeah I did....I didn't know that...."she stopped and blushed, the cutest tint of pink.
"That we'd kiss? Neither did I....it was kinda a reflex....I got at the moment....-"
"Yeah....i understand."
"And y/n.....!"
"Yup?"
"---dont ever ever wear skirts to school...I dunno what I might do the next time you wear it...."I said smirking.
"Yeah...I'll keep that in mind, you idiot!"she said,her ears glowing as  red as a tomato.
"Yeah!"I said, almost laughing at her expression.
"Hey, taehyung! What about jennie??? Did you two break up?"
My face turned pale when she mentioned the name of that bitch....
We broke up right after the phonecall.....
Though she kept denying the relationship with soobin....
"Tae....you fine?" She asked.
I nodded before saying.
"We broke up.....yesterday over the phone..." my voice trailed off.
"Ohhhh...."she said.
"Can we not..um...talk about her.....?"
"Sure....."
"so......?"
"What?"
"We can hold hands for real..right?"
"huh?"
"I mean......we don't have to pretend anymore in front of Soobin....."
"Yeah......hey, wait a second-"
"yeah?"
Don't ask whether we are dating or not....

"We- we are dating?"

What do I say to that?
"Ummm...not yet."I said looking at her.
"ohhhkay....."She said smiling.
"You know--"
"What?"
"You are beautiful.....no doubt. But you look even more beautiful with your eyes closed."
To this, she opened her mouth to say something but closed it immediately.
She is adorable......drop dead adorable.
"By the way....you do remember that you are coming to my house today..right? The talent contest is almost near."
"Of course..I am really looking forward to visiting your house."
"My mom too.."She muttered under her breath.
"Your mom? She knows about me?"
"Aparently yes..using her mom powers......"
"Ahh...I see."
"And no kissing at my house......"
"Unless you wear sexy skirts at your house too....."
"Pervert...."
I giggled and she smiled.
"Let's go down before anyone finds out our hideaway......"
"Sure,babygirl."
"Yeah..big guy."
"That's my nickname,huh?"
"Apparently....."
"I love it already."I said,smirking.
"You wanna stay here? Or wanna go down?"
"You wish is my order,babygirl."
"Stop beeing so cheesy..."
"Never."
We walked down to the canteen....holding hands.........Jungkook and mina were sitting together..having their lunch,busy giggling away.
"What if they ask us what where we were?"
"Let's just tell them..we were discussing about the song."
"Sure thing."

We walked to the table with our food. Jungkook noticed us ascending down from the rooftop.He just smirked looking at me, then back at Taehyung....I could feel what's in his mind already.
"Welcome,guys"He said as we approached the table.
"Ahhh..hi kookie, hi mina....."
"Hey,y/n.....Where were you two...?The recess is almost gonna be over."
"Ummm....we were actually talking about the songs we were gonna sing for the contest....."
"I see..."Jungkook says looking at me."Why did you need to go to the rooftop for that? You could've just told us..we would've given you two privacy if you needed it that much......right mina?"
"Of course.."she said nodding.
Neither of us spoke.
"Ohhhkay...we'll remember that next time." I said, smiling.
"Taehyung?"Jungkook said.
"Yeah?"
"I don't think there was lipbalm on your lips the last time I saw you in the morning....."
Shit!
My lipbalm.....
He kissed me....so there must be lipbalm on his lips too....
Why didn't I notice that????
Say something, come on......big guy.
Taehyung blushed, as clueless as me.
"I guess...you didnt notice me properly....I had it on since the morning....haha!" He said, trying to keep a straight face.
"Ahhhh.....what a coincidence!!!!! Y/n and you both decide to wear lipbalm on the same day. You know...you two look like you are made for each other."
"Shut it, kook!"I said.
"Awwww.....you standing up for your boyfriend....huh?"
"We are not dating, kookie...."
"Awwww.....how bad! We thought of going on a double date on Saturday.....too bad you guys are not up for it."
None of us spoke to that.
"Have fun....you two." I said.....
"And use protection too..."taehyung said giggling.
"The heck???"
I gave taehyung a hi5!
"Damn.....that one was great!" I whispered.
"I told you.....you'd not regret dating me."
"Of course....."
Jungkook was blushing to the rim of his cheeks and mina's ears went red.
They were trying to tease us....and ended up embarrased themselves.
Suddenly, taehyung's smile faded looking at the person behind me.
I followed his gaze.....and looked behind me.
Jennie was standing there with the angriest gaze I'd ever seen.
Why is she here again??
Ohhh...they broke up. Maybe.....i guess ....she wants to curse me really bad.
"You bitchh??? Didn't I ask you to stay away from my tae?"
