The next day...

Troy slowly began to open his eyes.

For a moment he was confused about where he was. But then it all came back to him. He realized that his head didn't hurt anymore. He felt..fine. For the first time in a while he felt... fine.

He was in his room laying in bed. There was an IV needle in his right arm. The liquid in the IV bag was peach colored and it was glowing.

Troy rubbed his eyes and looked to the right. There was 'Get Well Soon' balloons, cards and flowers.

His room door opened and revealed his mom.

"You're up!"

"Yup."

She sat next to him on his bed. "How do you feel?"

"Wait. What?"

"Do you not remember anything?"

"Not really. I only remember coming back home, going to the shower, coming back out and that's it."

Queen Caly sighed. "Well, you passed out. It looks like the energy powers in your body were malfunctioning due to it being suppressed in your body for so long. Even though you used it that day with Bryce, it was accidental. Instead you should've tested and trained your powers after that incident. But you didn't. And that's my fault."

"So that was the cause of my headaches?"

"Yes. Your body couldn't handle all of that malfunctioning and suppression and then finally...it shut down."

Troy sighed. "And I couldn't handle it because I never mastered it."

Queen Caly nodded. "Exactly. Your IV is full of pure energy to stabilize all of that malfunction and your energy powers. Also to regulate your new body temperature."

Troy nodded. "So how long have I been out?"

"Two days."

"Mom, are you serious?!"

"Yes, Troy. You've been out for that long."

"So I missed The Caves and The Battle?"

"No. We didn't go to The Caves. We have to be in this together so we decided to wait until you got better."

"Thank God." He said. "I wanted to harm those people myself."

Queen Caly sighed. "Troy, I am so sorry. All of this is my fault. I shouldn't have suppressed your powers. You ARE responsible and a great prince. And you have done well for this kingdom. Ever since you were were coronated and took the official duties of prince you've done nothing but make me proud. So it's my fault for not believing in you. You're in this condition because of me and I just feel terrible. I'm so sorry."

She wiped a tear from her face. "Now look at you, all in bed and hurt because of me."

Troy put his hand on his mother's.

"Do you forgive me?" Queen Caly asked

"You've apologized so I will forgive you. You're my mother, I always will."

Queen Caly smiled and touched his face. "I'm glad! I love you so much. And I'm so happy that you're a hybrid!"

Troy smiled back. "Love you too. So who found me?"

"Me. I came to your room but you were taking a shower so I decided to come back later hoping we could talk. Then two hours later I came back just to see you on the floor and I just started to freak out. Me and your father took you to the hospital and you woke up but it seems that you don't remember that."
