The Battle: Final Finale

"Oh my goodness." Queen Icilana whispered. "I should've known."

"Wait..seriously?" Blaize asked

"For how long?" Queen Caly asked

"It's been a year now."

"Lucian, why didn't you say anything?" King Flames asked

"How was I supposed to? She didn't want me to. We were going to say it sometime soon but obviously too many things have been going on. I thank you guys for your concern but right now I need to know where they are."

"Hey!"

They all turned to the left (King Lucian's right) to see a lifeless Bryce in a frantic Queen Brittany's arms.

"Help me!" She shrieked

They all went over there with Lucian moving faster than any of them.

"Lucian!" She cried

They gave each other a hug.

"This is so sad." Princess Nishati whispered to Prince Gio

"For real." Gio whispered back

"Cian? Are you okay?" Queen Brittany asked

King Lucian shrugged.
" I don't know."

Everyone noticed how worse he was getting by the second.

"What did she do to you in there?" Queen Brittany asked

"She kept me in a room." Lucian said with tears still falling from his eyes. "A cold room."

Brittany shook her head as she tried to hold herself from crying.

"I'm so sorry." She whispered

"We'll talk about it later. What's wrong with Brycinian?" Lucian asked

"We defeated her. As she was detonating, her body released this huge explosion. It knocked us off our feet. The explosion matter had so much dark, evil, and possessed magic that it got too much for me. I suddenly died but Bryce used a spell to remove some of his energy to save me and bring me back to life. By doing that, he extracted too much of his own life energy taking twenty years off him to give to me. That resulted in reviving me but making me have too much energy left over causing me to look a bit younger."

"But wouldn't he be like seven years old since he gave twenty years?" Sky asked

Brittany shook her head.
"It doesn't work like that, my dear. Him taking some of his life energy is speeding up his aging process somehow and I don't know how to fix this! He's dying!"

King Lucian shook his head.
"Why? Why us? After everything we went through to have this child..he's on the brink of death."

"Don't say that!" Queen Caly exclaimed. "Be positive."

"Is there not a spell?" Jett asked

"No. This is science." Queen Brittany said.

"Crystal! You're a scientist." Eden said

"This is beyond me! I'm more of a inorganic and glacier chemistry person. This is more of bio." She said. "But..I believe somehow we're going to have to balance the little energy in his body out but then again we don't know how much."

"Balance it with what?" Blaize asked

"That's the question." Crystal said

"Winston." Queen Wendie said. "He can help."

"How do we get Winston here?" Queen Brittany asked

"I'm already here." He said, walking towards them.
