Bryce
Bryce was on his balcony, soaking in the sunshine. His main magic source. He was completely one with the sun until he heard his mother's voice.
"Hello, my baby boy."
"Hey, mom."
"What are you up to? I wasn't expecting you to still be at the castle. I thought you'd be at your palace."
Bryce turned around.
"No, I'm here. I'm just soaking up the sun.""No hanging out today?"
"Nope. The battle was two months ago but it still feels like yesterday."
"Unfortunately. Is T still doing that guest speech?"
"No he pulled out."
Queen Brittany frowned.
"Oh what a shame! He should've done it.""Yeah. How'd your appointment go?"
Queen Brittany smiled.
"That will be later. There's someone I want you to meet.""Who?"
"Come with me to the west lawn."
******
They walked across the lawn until they stood in front of a stunning young lady. She had a lot of hair that was black and curly. She had her hair in a half up-half down. She was wearing a causal yellow off shoulder dress with gold sandals.
Bryce shook her hand.
"Hello. I feel like I know you from somewhere."She smiled. "Hello to you too. I'm Adria Carmichael. I do type four hair videos on WeTube."
Bryce nodded. "That's where I've seen you from!"
Queen Brittany cleared her throat. "So uh. As you know this is Adria and uh....she's the girl that I got for you. You can start off as friends."
Bryce sucked his teeth.
"Ugh! Mom! You shouldn't have done this!""Hey! You are approaching that age!"
"Mom, I'm just in my twenties! I have time."
"Sure but you've got to get a move on."
"I can't do this!"
"Why?!"
"Because-"
Bryce sighed and looked at the girl.
"Excuse us, young lady."
