"How did they die?" Troy asked

"She used a spell that threw them off guard. But for distraction she sent four people that she cursed to have their magic. A lady named Swim is water, another lady Hadia is fire, a man named Leo is Earth, and another man, Wyatt is air. I know this because that fool believed I hated Caly and I wanted revenge. So the witch sent them to me. But oh boy was she surprised."

"Why is she sending distractions?" Bryce asked

Enerdina shrugged.

"Not fully sure. But she knew what she was doing choosing them. Swim is a cousin of the water royals who lost her powers because she decided to bite more than she can chew. She believed it's the main royals fault and swore vengeance. Hadia got rejected by Flames when they were TWELVE and she believed that he embarrassed her and the same for Leo who was rejected by Jade and Wyatt who was rejected by Wendie."

"What?!" They all exclaimed

"Only psychopaths will use that as a reason to harm and kill others!" Troy exclaimed

"I'm telling you, Hagatha did it on purpose, babies." Enerdina said. "She's making crazy people already crazier."

"It's a good thing we're training the girls again." Bryce said

"It is." Enerdina said. "They need to get stronger and remember how to battle again. I hope this helped. I only know so much. If they hadn't had come to my house and told me what they were here for and Dorian didn't have a big mouth, I wouldn't know anything. I wish I could tell you more."

"No, grandma you helped. At least we know what we're up against."

Enerdina smiled and took Troy's hands.
"You have your father's face but your mother's way of speaking."

Troy smiled.
"I actually get that a lot. Is another reason why Hagatha chose you to help is because grandpa is from that village?"

Enerdina shrugged.
"Maybe."

Troy sighed.

"You're doing good, baby." Enerdina said. "You AND your friends. Don't hesitate to relax a little. Don't be like your mother who feels like the planet needs to be carried on her shoulders. Because it doesn't."

Troy nodded.
"I hear you. Can I see grandfather before I go?"

"Oh sure."

They stood up.

"We'll stay here since it's personal." Ryanz said

"No, I'd like if you guys could come with me. If you want to."

They followed Troy to his grandfather. Enerdina opened the door and revealed Zoran on the bed with a ventilator attached to him. Ryanz shook his head as he remembered how he looked at his parents attached to a ventilator. How they didn't make it to the next month.

Bryce noticed how Ryanz looked and put his arm around him. Bryce knew what was wrong with him.

They approached his bed. Enerdina had to stop herself from crying. She gently pulled his mask down so he can talk without his ventilator for a few minutes.
