Sky was behind the bar fixing a drink for a guard. "Here you are, Jack."
"Thank you, Princess."
The guard took his drink and left the bar.
T walked in. "Hey."
"What? Look with everything that went down, I'm only giving you the time of day because of it. This doesn't mean we're best friends again."
"I know. Just allow me to apologize."
Sky didn't say anything.
"You were right. Raye never loved me, she never cared for me. All she did was cheat on me. I should've known she wasn't for me. I'm sorry. I truly apologize."
Sky sighed and shook her head not at him but at herself.
"It's okay." She said. "I'm sorry too. I guess I've been dragging it."
"No, your reaction was valid. From now on, I promise to tell you things that you need to know."
Sky nodded. "I like that. And you have a point that I was gone for four years. Things change. And if that change was Raye then I have no choice but to adjust. You have every right to date whoever you want. It is not my right to co-sign what you do in your life."
T nodded and gave her a smile. "Truce?"
"Truce." Sky said with a smile
They approached each other and hugged.
