They Come and Go

T came into his house. His father came from the kitchen with a glass of water in his hand.

"Dad? I thought you'd be at work since it's pretty chaotic in the castle with The Majesties returning. I also thought you were still staying there?"

"I left early today because I had a case to judge at court today. As for staying in the castle, why, when I can stay here?"

His father gave him the glass of water.

T nodded. "Thanks. So what's up?"

Christian slowly shrugged as he went to the living room to sit down.

"Nothing." He said

T sighed as he joined his father in the living room. He took a huge gulp of his water but then began to cough after he drank it.

"Dad, is this water or what?!"

"When did I say it was water?"

"I was wondering why the glass was short." T said.

T started hitting his chest.
"Ow!"

"T, I know you're stronger than that." His dad said. "Besides, you should've used them warlock senses to see if it was water and not only that you shouldn't have drank it like that in the first place."

After a minute, T calmed down.

"I am not a warlock." T said. "Anyways. How was your day?"

"Tough. Judged a few cases and then came here. But I couldn't even cook."

"I got you." T said as he sat down on the couch next to the couch his dad was sitting on.

"How was yours?"

"Ryanz quit."

"That was foreseeable. Y'all haven't been on good terms lately."

"Wasn't it?" T said with a sigh. "But he literally sent me a letter, he ain't even come up to me in person."

"Why would he? He's embarrassed."

"Not as embarrassed as me." T said

"Takeout?" T suggested. "Cause I physically can't cook right now."

"Please do so." His father said. "How was work today apart from that?"

T shrugged.
"The same."

"I heard you pulled out of the guest speech for Lorden University?"

"Yeah."

"Why? You know that's one of the best universities. Hell, you, Crystal, Troy and Ryanz went there."

"I can't do it."

"You CAN. You just don't want to."

"How can I?" T asked him. "Breanna's death is still so fresh to us, especially to me. To finish it off, I broke up with Raye cause she's been cheating and got herself pregnant for whoever she was messing with! Then Ryanz quits when HE punched me in the face and I still haven't talked to him because the relationship is wonky! It's been no one else but myself because everybody thought I'm this big bad dude who hurt Sky when that wasn't even my intention."

"Aren't you cool with Sky now?"

"I am but I'm just saying how all the drama was so unnecessary before."
