Chapter Ten: Forged in the Flames of a Rocket Pt. 2

Everyone sat down at the table, Hina sitting down at the end of the table, Josuke at the other. Josui and Celine sat down on Josuke's right side of the table and Zeppeli sat next to Hina. Okuyasu sat down next to his best friend Josuke and looked at the delicious food on the table with the smells of wonder and happiness piercing all of their noses. Hina gasped as she forgot to get everyone drinks. Josuke saw the look on her face and sat straight up, getting everyone drinks. "A beer for me!" said Okuyasu, "I'd prefer a diet Coke." Zeppeli replied, "Could you get me a glass of water?" Josuke asked very kindly and Hina smiled while she said, "That sounds wonderful. I think I will get myself a glass of water too." As she was about to stand up, Josui quickly got his mother and father with glasses of water. Hurrying back to the fridge, he grabbed a bottle of beer for Okuyasu and a diet Coke for Zeppeli in a glass. Then he himself grabbed a can of regular Coke and stop dead in his tracks. "Celine?" She looked up nervously and gave a little smile. "Would you like a Coke?" She nodded yes and Josui took the can of Coke and poured it into a glass. Then he gave it to Celine, got a can of Coke for himself and sat down. They all sat at the table and talked for a couple hours. Okuyasu and Hina talked about when was the next time they would go to the grocery store, because they were low on milk. Okuyasu and Zeppeli talked about why clams taste absolutely awful, while the other argued that they were delicious. Celine and Josui looked at each other and never said a word. Josui tapped her on the shoulder and handed her a milk-bread roll, giving her a sense of kindness and connection in a world of loneliness.

That night, Celine sat down on her bed while Zeppeli covered her with a blanket and noticed the beads of sweat dripping off her forehead. Pulling out a white cloth from his coat, he patted her head and said, "Are you alright child? What on earth's the matter?" to which she responded, "You know about that thing I saw out there, right?" Looking out the window, Zeppeli looked back at her and nodded yes. Zeppeli sat down next to her and said, "Would you like me to stay?" Celine gave a small smile and said, "Yes." Then Zeppeli sat down on the bed and looked out the window, making sure he stayed awake no matter what. It was around 8:00 p.m. when this happened. 

An hour later, Zeppeli looked at his watch and checked on Celine, who had fallen asleep with a bit of a shiver. Refusing to leave the room, Zeppeli's stomach growled in his body. The sound nearly awakened Celine and everyone in the house. He couldn't leave since he made a promise to never leave the room, he searched on his person to find anything that would quiet his stomach. He looked in his jacket pocket and found a small package of mints. Well, if this doesn't satisfy my hunger, nothing will. Zeppeli thought to himself. Popping one of the mints, his stomach growled a little less that satisfied him in thought. Sitting back down on the bed, Zeppeli rubbed one of his eyes while the other kept watch on the window. But then something gave him a deep and terrifying feeling. The feeling came from one of the dresser drawers. He got off the bed and opened the drawer only to see the dagger that Josuke hid earlier. Wrapping his hand with a towel, he picked it up and examined it, noticing the word DIO forged into the handle. Then Zeppeli saw something out of the corner of his eye, a silhouette of a thing slipped out of view of the window causing Zeppeli to jump up and run to the window. Looking around, he didn't see anyone or anything nearby. Summoning Black Parade, he sent it outside to examine the area and did not find anyone nearby or outside the window but then Zeppeli turned around to the sound of the door of the bedroom to be busted open, literally sending the door off its hinges and blasting him out the window. Zeppeli crashed out the window and landed on the patio, landing on the left side of his body, breaking his back and his knee. His neck surprisingly survived the fall and was in constant shock but not enough that he didn't realize what had happened. Celine jumped right up out of bed and saw Ramone walk into the room.

Josui was sleeping on the floor in his parent's bedroom but then all of a sudden a whooshing sound came through the air outside the door and then a crashing sound came from his own room where Celine was sleeping, this ended up waking Josuke, Hina and Josui all at once. Blasting off the floor like the bullets that blasted out of his grandfather Joseph's tommy gun back in the 1930's. Running out of the room, Josuke and Hina ran downstairs to find Zeppeli on the ground. Josuke gasped in fear and Hina ran back into the house for some reason. Josui on the other hand saw Ramone walking towards the bed with Celine in fear. Summoning his Stand, Mercury Vision to punch her away from Celine. Maid of Iron came out and attacked Mercury Vision with her giant spiked hand, almost cutting up Josui into little pieces if he didn't dodge every attack. But then, Maid of Iron's spiky fist punched him in the chest, putting six inch spikes into his chest, piercing one of his lungs. Ramone smiled and was about to finish him off when she suddenly felt something hit her right between her eyes causing blood to pour down her head. Stumbling backwards, she looked up and saw Hina walk up towards her and struck Ramone with a metal baseball bat in one hand and a handheld pistol in her other hand, shattering multiple teeth and dislocating her jaw in the process. Josui's mother was fighting a vampire! "Josui! Get Celine downstairs and find your father! He can heal your injuries!" Pushing Celine out the doorway and getting her downstairs, he then walked back into the room. About to use her Stand to kill Hina when Mercury Vision used his own blood to decapitate Ramone. In the meantime, he grabbed his mother and pushed her out of the room. "Josui, what are you doing?! Get to your father!" Giving his mother a hug, Josui replied, "Mom, it's going to be okay. I can fight her off. Go!" Pushing his mother out of the room and using Mercury Vision to breakdown the doorway, keeping only Josui and Ramone in the whole room. "So, you and your sister have identical Stands? Interesting..." Sister? What sister? Wait. Josui realized that she thought he had a sister, not realizing that the "sister" was Josui dressed as a girl!

Playing her game, Josui had an idea of what to do about her. "No! Leave her out of this! I won't let you hurt her!" Charging at Ramone, he had Mercury Vision use more of his blood to make a small shield. Ramone on the other hand used Maid of Iron to backhand Josui through the wall and into another wall that was next to the bathroom. Using water from the bathtub, Josui used the water to make up for the lost blood in his body. Ramone then walked in and said, "No more, where is she? I know she lives here." Sticking his hand into the bathtub, he turned his head and replied, "I.. won't  tell you. No one in this family is going to die because.. of you.." Pulling back two of her fingers, she was about to stab him in the neck and drain Josui of his blood and kill him but then Mercury Vision blasted out of the water and created two katanas out of the bath water and slashed at Ramone.

After that, Ramone rehealed herself and smiled as she used Maid of Iron to restrained Mercury Vision as she picked up Josui with one hand. "No more games, I must feed!" She then jabbed her index and middle finger in his neck and started to suck out the liquids in his body. But then she noticed Josui's blood tasted disgusting, like it was-- "Bathwater. I filtered the liquids between my blood and the bathwater. Enjoy!" Then he pulled out a piece of debris from the wall and stabbed Ramone in the eye! She then threw him in his own bedroom where the window used to be. She then ran over and grabbed Josui and held him by his neck again. Josuke was in the process of healing Zeppeli when he heard Celine scream, causing him to look at Josui being held over the edge. "This is over, boy! There's nothing that can stop me and it will certainly not be you!" Josui smiled as she gave a confused look. Then suddenly, she felt a bite on her leg as she saw Black Parade stretch over from Zeppeli's body. "Joke's on you, Black Parade has a range of 5 meters!" Still in shock, Zeppeli muttered, "B-b-blue Coral Snake!" She suddenly started to freeze up from the Blue Coral Snake Venom moving through her veins so violently. Josui fell from her hand and was about to crash into the ground when Black Parade wrapped around his body. It wrapped around his body so much that Josui looked like a giant snake ball. The ball landed on the ground and unwrapped itself off of him, laying him softly on the ground. Josuke ran over to his son and shouted, "Crazy Diamond!" Healing his son, pulling his blood back to his own body then healed the damage done to his skin and his lungs. Gasping, Josui sat up and hugged his father. Josuke ran back to Zeppeli and finished healing him. Standing back up, he said, "Everyone! My Stand, the Black Parade has the power to use different types of snake venom that I can choose. I used the Blue Coral Snake's venom on her, but given that she is a vampire she will most likely heal from it." Okuyasu looked up and saw Ramone about to jump down and kill them all when wood and debris came back together and trapped her in the walls of the house, thanks to Josuke's restoration abilities. She growled and roared in the most monster-like thing as she turned into the hideous monster that had slaughtered all of the officers when she started being a monstrous vampire.

Bursting out of the wall, she jumped out and aimed for Josui. But then Okuyasu used The Hand to pull him out of the way, erasing the space between himself and Josui. Ramone, or rather that horrible blood-sucking beast growled at them as her Stand, Maid of Iron reappeared and revealed that it too had turned itself into a hideous monster, nearly similar to that of Smashed Pumpkins. Maid of Iron went to attack when suddenly, a giant bronze arm instantly flew out of Celine, knocking Ramone and her stand back. Everone stood in shock as Celine had the metal arm fire a giant beam of fire at Ramone.
