That night, Hina came downstairs after Josuke fixed up the house and the backyard. She and Okuyasu had finally finished putting Celine and Josui in separate beds, then Okuyasu went and fell asleep on the living room couch. Zeppeli walked in and said, "Mrs. Higashikata, I believe there is something you must discuss with your husband." She nodded and walked out, but not before Zeppeli said, "Also, he's in a state of severe depression. I would choose my words carefully." She walked out and saw Josuke, sitting in the grass with his legs crossed and looking at the night sky. Putting her hand on his shoulder, Hina sat down and said, "Are you okay?" He nodded yes but then started to nod no. "Zeppeli thinks that we should send Josui away, to protect him." Her eyes enlarged as she started to shout, "What does he think--" He interrupted her and replied, "I agree with him." Putting his hands on his head and almost about to cry, Josuke took a deep breath then said, "We have to send Josui and Celine on their own so they can survive. If we let them stay here in Morioh, we're just trapping them. The reason I didn't leave this place was because I thought maybe one day no one would leave and with Jotaro's death on my mind it's..." Hina wrapped both of her arms around his, almost starting to cry. "Are you sure this is the right way? What if he gets hurt?" Still looking at the night sky, a couple of tears dripped down his cheeks. "Hina. I want to keep him here, but that was a mistake. You know about Stands and he didn't. That is what almost got him killed. I tried to protect him from all the horrors that I went through when I was his age and I failed to do so. Please don't make this harder than it has to be." Hina nodded, then she looked down. "What do we have to do?" Josuke wiped away another tear as he looked back to his wife and then the ring on his finger, remembering meeting his wife after his fight with Yoshikage Kira and marrying her, then holding his son when he was born. Taking in a deep breath and holding his wife in his arms with tears in Josuke's eyes, "We have to send them away. I wish there was another way."

The following morning, Josui felt his shoulder being tapped by someone else. He looked up and saw Celine, wiping her eyes from just waking up. Sitting up and taking his shirt off, Josui quickly put on a new shirt so Celine wouldn't see (But ended up seeing) his skinny body that his jacket would normally hide. She noted that he was very skinny. His waist was thinner than hers, surprising Celine a little bit. Josui's ribs weren't showing, but he was incredibly skinny nonetheless. He quickly turned around and looked at Celine, trying to strike up conversation. "So, are you alright?" Celine nodded yes and bit her upper lip and said, "What were those... things?" Josui looked at her in curiosity, "Things?" Running her hand through her hair, she replied, "Those things that came out of you, your dad and Mr. Zeppeli. Were they... Stands?" He nodded yes and pulled on some pants as Hina knocked on the door and said, "Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt, but would you like some breakfast?" Celine looked at Josui and he looked at her with his stomach grumbling yes. After they finished getting dressed, the two walked down the stairs and saw Josuke, Hina and Zeppeli in the kitchen. Josui and Celine sat in a pair of chairs next to each other. Zeppeli set down their plates and Hina asked, "Do any of you want bacon or eggs or both?" Josui said, "Eggs and bacon for me." Celine smiled nervously and said, "Eggs and bacon sound good for me too." Josuke pulled out the warm coffee pot then poured himself a cup. "Would either of you like a cup of coffee?" They both nodded and watched Josuke give them both a cup of coffee as Josui said, "Are you okay?" Taking a deep breath in and exhaled. Hina looked at her son and replied to him, "We.. just need to talk to you about something. Now eat your breakfast." They ate their breakfast and drank their coffee then watched Hina washing the dishes. Looking at his mother, Josui noted that his mother began to cry. "Mom? Are you okay? What's wrong?!" Josuke put his hand upon Josui's shoulder and said, "We have to talk about you and Celine."
