Chapter Four: Stand Training Pt. 2

Josui panicked. He was going to be literally disintegrated into nothing. But that was okay, right? Josuke could just regenerate him back! But then he watched as Zeppeli said, "Josuke, do not interfere. This part of the training is necessary." Josuke shouted back, "What part of this is necessary?!" Looking down and seeing his shin disappearing, Josui began to feel scared. Summoning his Stand, he sent it to beat down Zeppeli to render him unconscious. Before the Stand could begin to release a single ORA, Black Parade wrapped itself around Josui's Stand, tying it up so that he couldn't move. At this point, Josui's thigh was half gone causing him to go into a panic. Celine, unaware of what to do, tried to get Zeppeli to stop by throwing a glass at him. Black Parade extended himself and caught it in midair. While not taking his eye's off Josui, Zeppeli said, "Celine, don't throw glasses! That's not very nice. Black Parade then pulled a couple fruits from a lemon tree to make a glass of fresh lemonade.

Watching Zeppeli making lemonade gave Josui an idea. Feeling his skin getting drier and cracking, Josui began to drain the water out of his body to make smaller water knifes. The Stand flicked them at Zeppeli, who blocked them out with the green long hose like body of Black Parade. "Seriously? Did you think that would work? Josui, you must understand, there are other ways to do better. Try to think outside of the box." He didn't notice that one of the small water droplets that was on Black Parade tried to get itself under Zeppeli's Stand's skin. Nothing happens, except for Zeppeli to flick the water droplet. "I said outside of the box." Josui laughed as his leg dissipated and said, "You've just been outsmarted." Confused, Zeppeli tried to figure out what he meant. But then he saw it. Black Parade couldn't wrap itself around Josui's Stand. Why? Because Josui's Stand turned his entire body into a near lifeless corpse!

Looking at his hands, Josui saw that he had now become a zombie like creature, almost devoid of any water in his body. Josui slowly formed back to normal without nearly drowning himself in his own bodily fluids, Zeppeli impressed. But the disappearance of Josui's body kept going up, taking about half of his body. Hopping around on one foot, he looked around trying to find a way to render Zeppeli unconscious somehow. How would he be able to do it? He couldn't turn Zeppeli into that dry near lifeless husk. Pulling off his other shoe, he threw it in an attempt to distract his opponent, but failed. "Really? Throwing your shoe?" Zeppeli bent down to pick up the shoe and stood up to see Josui turned completely into a lifeless husk. In shock, Zeppeli picked up his body and was about to have Black Parade reverse what he was doing, when suddenly--

ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA!

Zeppeli flew into the side of the house with the Stand's fist hitting him in the head. Black Parade was unable to do anything and Josui was about to lose the other leg. Trying to regain his concentration, Zeppeli struggled to get out of the Stand's punches. Wrapping Black Parade around his leg, he teleported away and shouted, "ENOUGH!"

Josui's body reformed itself allowing himself to finally rest. Zeppeli calmly wiped away the sweat and blood pouring down his head. With each heavy breath, he tried to think of what to say. But the longer time passed, the less there was to be said. Josui picked himself up off of the ground and leaned against the side of the house, heavily breathing. "You weren't serious about teleporting me everywhere, were you?" After Josuke healed Zeppeli, he said, "No, I was just teleporting you to your bedroom. Perhaps we should take a break, yes?" They agreed and went inside of the house, Josui heading to the shower. His body was dripping with sweat that soaked into his clothes. When he entered his room, he pulled off his jacket to see that the sweat had soaked into his tanktop and bra. Pulling them both off, he hid them in his laundry basket and went to take a shower. Celine went to check on Josui, knocking on the door. But he couldn't hear her, because of the water pouring down his head and the thought of what nearly happened to him.
