Ness became quieter as the times went on, soon he returned to his normal self. Lucas and the two other boys chatted, mostly about families. Ness joined in on the conversations too, and now without holding back, he really did not remember anything he talked about a couple hours ago.
"New Pork City? Is that where we are going Ness?" Lucas asked. "Why are we doing this again?"
"Seems so, it's a big city, one of the biggest, I've been there when I was little." Link said. "This is exciting, if we can get there."
"Wait I didn't agree to this...New what?" Ness said, confused. "And why am I so friendly to you, why am I so happy for no reason, what happened yeste-"
"Anyways, let's change the conversation up." Villager interrupted. "Toonie used to have a relative there, she was pretty unpleasantly sized, according to him, his second cousin."
"Just how many things do you know about each other..." Lucas asked.
"A lot, really a lot, right Villa?"
"Oh Yes. A lot..."
"Oh really?"
"Oh of course~~~~~"
(This went on for ten more seconds)
"Shut the fuck up nobody cares." Ness interrupted the two. This time in a more sarcastic way, unlike the other times he criticized them. The atmosphere was great, Lucas was just glad that they could finally trust each other. "Get a fucking room, this is cringe."
"I wished I still had my room, that is not shattered into pieces. " Link said.
"I see something." Lucas said." A building, like buildings in Fourside."
"Is it an apartment?" Ness chimed in. "I'm hungry."
"Maybe we are already at Fourside." Link said.
"No way." Lucas said. "It doesn't exactly look like a skyscraper."
...
Link: "That's a hospital."
Villager: "Alright, lets keep going, we are not going in there."
Ness: "Please don't tell me that hospitals scare you."
Lucas: "I agree with Villa, there might be people in there."
Ness: "What kind off people, zombies? You believe in that shit???"
Link: "Alright, let's let democracy decide, who's with entering the building?"
(Ness raises firmly, while Link slowly picks up his hand)
Villager: "Really?"
Link: "There could be vending machines, I need food right here and right now."
Lucas: "I changed my mind, I'm also with Ness."
Villager: "..." "But I don't like Hospitals."
Ness: "I'll keep that in mind for the next time we scream at each other."
Villager: (middle finger emerges)
Ness: "What? You were the one that decided to tell me."
The hospital was huge, depressing, the outside walls were yellow, which looked white before. Two sets of revolving doors welcomed at the entrance, which the boys used to get in. The door made a creaky noise, symbolizing that it has been abandoned for a while now.
