What remained of the night was nothing but good memories.

Various delicacies awaited them in the dinner, well, if you count cooked fish as delicacies. They are really uncommon now days.

At this point, Lucas' mood could not get any better, not after what happened hours ago.

After dinner, the boys thanked the strange girl for the feast, the girl responded with politeness, something Ness did not except to see. She assigned the boys to one of the many little huts on the beach, and insisted on them staying for the night.

"See? She isn't that bad." Link said to Ness, who was scratching his head. "She's a bit like you. Fun and masterful at edgy humor, except she doesn't throw fits like you do. Ya gotta work on that."

"I can't believe you still think I'm fun, after all the shit things I've said to you and your boyfriend."

"Fun or not, I'm really glad to have met with you and Lucas days ago. And all of these things we got to experience together in such a short time." Link said. "I don't have anything to give you as a token of thanks, so take this hug."

"Nahhhh, I'll pass." Ness said. "A high five is good."

"Man, can we talk about the thing you have going on with Lucas? At least you are not gonna be jealous anymore." Villager said.

"..."

Lucas looked the other way while Ness blatantly ignored Villager.

"Hey Ness, I thought you said you had a girlfriend, I'm guessing that was a lie?" Link asked, double downing on Ness.

"Nah, I wasn't lying, I had one, we broke up. It's none of your business anyways."

"Yeah, surreeeeeee." The two other boys said in unison while Lucas chuckled.

"What did she look like?" Lucas asked.

"Well...Um...She was also blond, like you, and she liked whacking things with cooking pans."

...

"That sounds made up." Villager said.

"You know what, it doesn't matter anymore." Ness said while crossing his arms. "Forget the past and look forward."

"We should get some rest soon guys, it's dark." Lucas suggested. "It's also kinda cold out here on the seaside, maybe we should hang indoors."

"Good idea." Link and Villager both approved the idea.

"Wait, I wanna go somewhere with you Lucas." Ness said. "Just a little walk alongside the beach,  It'll be quick."

"Oh...that'll be nice." Lucas said while blushing. "So like...a date?"

"Yeah! A date, a little one. We won't be gone for so long." Ness responded while grabbing Lucas' hands.

...

Link and Villager looked back and forth from Lucas to Ness, until suddenly, they smiled. Both of them knew exactly how to get on Ness' nerves and piss him off.

"Ahhh, I see what you are trying to do here Ness." Link said. "No wonder you picked such a late time for this."

"I mean, if you two really want some action, go ahead, you don't have to hide it from us-"

"NO YOU TWO DIRTY BASTARDS." Ness screamed from the top of his lungs while the other two boys giggled in response. "Let's go Lucas, don't look back at those two teenage delinquents."

Ness grabbed Lucas and sprinted far far away from Villager and Link, who still kept laughing like the two immature puppies they are.

"Have fun." Link screamed from afar. He got no response from Ness.
