we had our roles to fill. some succeeded, some struggled along the way.
we loved.
we lost.
we hated.
and we won.
but most of all, we tried to do it all together
we had someone as our guide, our guardian.
someone as our rock, our foundation.
someone as our shield, our protector.
someone as our leader, our connection
we had our breaks and miscommunications.
and we had our victories and our salvations.
there were so many obstacles. so many that even today, I'm not sure how I was able to move on and process it all.
I don't think I would change anything that happened, even if I could.
