Part 1 Announcement

HELLO ALL!

Alright, so after 20 long chapters of introducing charachters, the main plot is starting. I know it probably took a lot of willpower to read this far, so thank you for sticking with me.

My next update will be the Q&A so please drop your questions. I WILL ANSWER ALL OF THEM.

There are three arcs total in the story; The Gathering, The First Fight, and The Return. It will seem like the story is over at the end of the second arc, but I assure you it's not. Not many new charachters will be introduced in the next part. The only important ones I can think of are Jest, Stormy, and Zveck (a proper introduction rather than just the two chapters he was in before).

The next Arc will have a lot more building tension, bonding moments, and, as you probably suspected, a reveal about who traitor is.

Also, angst. Prepare yourselves.

I will also do a recap chapter so if you want to skip reading the first Arc, you can.

Heres some more details about the second Arc:

Keith starts to discover his own self worth with the help of Amber, Iris, and George.

I'm going to add more romance, if you want to know the final ships they're in my extras book.

The team travels toward Abbadon and trains for most of the journey, getting more in depth with each charachters skill sets and the like.

You will get to know more about each species and how they are built, such as the fact that Carson is a Vegan because he has a sensitive stomach like most of his species.

Elizabeth and Keith have an... interesting relationship.

And you start to get a glimpse of how the two sets of previous friends met and stuck together (Ash & Nolan, and Iris & Brianna)

There will not be anything lewd described, though there are mentions.

Heres a list of charachters so far so as to make sure that theres no confusion.

Keith: The Guardian. Keith is a male Harpy bound by fate to serve the Zodiacs. He is so engrained with this aspect, that he doesent see is own worth outside of them. He's actually a Sagittarius-Capricorn Cusp, born on christmas, and is 27 years old. Hes a little irrational sometimes and naive, but he is dedicated to his duty, even if he hasn't always liked the aspect of it. He's also easily excited and Aro-Ace.

Amber Sallow: The Leo. Amber is a female elf and a true Leo by heart. She is stubborn but intelligent, and a quick thinker and natural leader. She is closest to Carson but, due to living in the secluded Elven Territory, isnt fully aware of everything in the outside world. She is the youngest of the group, 21, and Bisexual.

Brianna: The Aries. Brianna, a female human, is attached to her best friend, Iris, at the hip and is very obviously dedicated to Iris in a way that Iris hasn't noticed yet. She has a short temper and a quick tounge and she often butts heads with George. She is 22 and a Lesbian.

Iris Stoves: The Gemini. Iris is a short, female eagle fey whose personality seems incredibly fluid and changing. She is adaptable as a gemini and adjusts her actions to fit those around her, but she is also indecisive and suspected as the traitor. Zveck had mentioned that she was the one he had wanted to recruit, but there hasn't yet been any confirmation on that. Shes the oldest of the group (other than Keith) at 23 and a Demisexual.

Asher Williams: The Scorpio. Ash is a male human that seems to have some kind of deeper relationship with Nolan. He's protective and cunning, but also aggressive. He's a good observer and seems to enjoy taunting Amber. He is 22 (he'll turn 23 during the second Arc) and Bisexual.

Nolan Erian: The Cancer. Nolan is a male merman that's very emotional. He tries to see the best in everyone and is generally very trusting. He blatantly clings to Ash constantly, as his love-language is physical touch. He is probably the easiest to manipulate out of the group, but hes also fairly calm in dangerous situation. Also, he has a gun. He is 22 and Gay.

Rebecca Branson: The Libra. Rebecca is a demigirl human that becomes incredibly flirtatious as she comes more out of her shell. She took an immediate attachment to Alex and is the daughter of a rich family funding the group. Rebecca is quiet and delicate, a true lady when shes not teasing someone. She is 22 and Pansexual.

Avery Jameson: The Virgo. Avery is a male human that is not very open, so his personality is not as well known. He is curious and tidy, despite growing up on a farm, and always wears gloves for some reason. He's introverted and doesn't really comment as much as the others. He actually has Autism. He is 22 and Straight.

George Poppy: The Taurus. George is a 7+ foot tall, transgender male troll that is fairly lazy and hardheaded. Hes an ambivert with and aversion to small spaces and hes easily offended. He is fairly confident despite this and is not afraid to tell someone off when he feels they are in the wrong. He gets fairly close to Nolan and Avery. He is 21 and Straight.

Carson Capri: The Sagittarius. Carson is a free-spirited, demiboy satyr who is only matched in speed by Elizabeth. He is always down for trying new things and likes researching other cultures because he finds them interesting. He can be a little dull at times, but he is very agreeable. He is 22, the second oldest of the 12, and Bisexual.

Alex Allen: The Aquarius. Alex is a non-binary siren that is incredibly independent and aloof. They don't particularly know why they followed the group so randomly, but they have thought of leaving several times, though they didnt want to leave Rebecca in doing so. They are 21 and polysexual.

Clementine Ichthys: The Pisces. Clementine is a transgender female Hippocampi with deep-rooted distrust in most people. She is blunt, but cunning and emotionally attuned to those around her. She feels closely connected to George and Ash. She is 21 and Straight.

Elizabeth Artemas: The Capricorn. Elizabeth is a female wendigo with a fascination with Keith, as a harpy. She is a bit insecure and emotionally distant at times, but shes also very loving and generous. She seems to like George fairly quickly and also spends a lot of time with Nolan. She is 22 and doesn't like labels.
