There, led face down in a pool of crimson, congealed blood lay the mangled corpse of a woman.

Martyn's jaw hung open, speechless as kaeyi flailed, horrified.

"Oh my..." Martyn took a step forward, swallowing hard. Their stomach churned at the sight.

"Stinky... you don't think..." Kaeyi murmured from behind her hands, staring at what she could see of the face.

He crouched down to the body, tempted to reveal it's face.

It's back had a worryingly long slice across that seemed to penetrate the torso. Dried blood surrounded the puncture but some of the blood seemed almost... fresh.
It's so horrible, but I need to know.

He squeezed his eyes shut turned away as he pressed one finger against the corpse's flesh. He twitched as Kaeyi couldn't bare to look and left the room, attempting to not vomit.

The pungent smell wafted into Martyn's nose, making his eyes almost water.

With one last ounce of courage, he rolled the woman onto her back with a thud, revealing her blood-soaked face.

"Whoever did this is sick and twisted." Kaeyi spat, stumbling back into the room.

"Oh my fucking god! That's Charlie!" Martyn exclaimed, falling back slightly, horrified.

"As in, Duncan's girlfriend?! Oh my gosh stinky, she's dead?!" Kaeyi screeched as Martyn quickly pulled her against his chest. "How could someone do that?!" She sobbed, hugging Martyn.

"...Do you think Duncan knows?!" Martyn yelled, whiping out his phone. He pulled up Duncan's number.
I can't just say: 'Hey pal, your bird's dead!' ! I'll just...
Hey Duncan! You know what happened with Charlie right? -M

"We need to call the police!"

"You're right. You go back to the car in case Sparkles* and co are waiting and I'll meet you there."

"Okay Stinky, be careful." Kaeyi said, making her way back downstairs.

"Oh and," Kaeyi turned to face him. "Keep this to ourselves for now. We don't want people getting upset when we're not even fully sure."

She nodded to him in agreement, continuing downstairs.

"Hey Kaeyi!" Sparkles* and Lewis smiled, tapping on the van.

"We gonna get this lot in then?" Simon squealed excitedly.

"Hold on... where's Martyn?" Hannah questioned, Lewis' arm around her. "Oh my gosh are you okay?" Hannah realised her expression, rushing to her and enveloping a broken Kaeyi in a hug.

She sniffed."Umm... there's a problem with one of the rooms so we're gonna have to," She sniffed again. "Postpone the move and I'm a little disappointed is all." She lied, smiling up at Hannah and the rest fakely.

"It's okay friend. We'll help you another time." Lewis comforted, rubbing her back.

"Yeah." Simon smiled.

"How about you get your car back to your flat and we can all hangout at the Area 11 house?" Sparkles* offered politely, making Kaeyi smile and the rest nod and reply in agreement.

At that moment, Martyn came out of the house, sliding his phone in his pocket.

"Hey Littlewood, we're all gonna hang out at mine to cheer you guys up. Sound good?"

"Umm... yeah. If there's alcohol." They chuckled, walking towards the car. Martyn grasped Kaeyi's hand and heloed her into the car.

They all clambered back int the car, Martyn driving next to Kaeyi, Sparkles* and Simon sat by eachother and Hannah led against Lewis in the back.
We'll get over this, we'll get over Kim. Hannah thought, gazing out the car window.

Kaeyi sniffled, dissapointed. "Hey," Martyn rubbed her arm. "Let's go home."
