"Shouldn't we be calling the police?" Lewis whispered, constantly scanning his surroundings.

"Lewis, she's our friend!" Sjin pleaded quietly.

"I know but... abuse to Hannah and murder for God's sake Sjin! Murder is serious!"

"I never would have thought she would be capable of something like that..." Sjin's voice trailed off, peering through the window to the room next door.

"Leave her asleep in the common room for now, I'll talk to her when she's awake."

"Okay Lewis. And, she's not technically alseep, she passed out."

Lewis rolled his eyes, walking past him. He entered the room and sat on the corner of the sofa where Kim lay unconscious and curled up in a blanket. Hannah sat opposite her, unable to take her worried gaze off of Kim.

"How you doing Han?" Lewis turned to her, forcing a smile. She smiled back and nodded.

"Do you know what happened to Duncan last night? Simon said he left just after Sips returned with some medical stuff for you."

She looked up, her face blank. "He went to the pub." She said in a monotone voice. Hannah wiped Kim's hair from her face, revealing her pale skin and berry lipstick.

Perplexed, Lewis leaned over to Hannah, wiping his thumb against her lip. She looked at him confused.

"You've got," He looked at his thumb. "Lipstick on your lip?"

Hannah's eyes widened immediately, her voice croaked.

"Yeah Kim uh, let me try some uh, of her lippy." She mustered, immediately standing up to walk out of the room. Lewis grabbed her hand gently. She didn't budge. He smiled out of the corner of his mouth and kissed her hand. She smiled back, fakely.

Minutes passed before Kim showed any signs of waking up.

She squinted and clenched her hands, thrashing slightly. Almost like she was having a bad dream. Her face looked pained.

"Shh sh sh." Lewis hushed, wiping her hair from her face. He placed his cold, shaking hand on her forehead. Boiling.

"Come on Kim. We need you awake." Lewis mumbled, looking at his lap.

Slowly, her eyelids opened revealing her mahogany, pained eyes. She looked up at Lewis, smiling back at her. Her vision was blurred but she recognised the familiar features. It was soothing.

"Hey Kimmy." He smiled, helping her sit up. She grimaced as she regained her posture.

"Hey." Kim coughed as Lewis placed his cool hand on hers. "Oh my gosh!" She pulled back her hand. "What happened to Duncan? Is he okay? How's Hannah?!" She burst leaning forward toward him, panicked.

"Calm down Kim. They're fine." He pushed her gently against the couch again. She breathed deeply, calming herself.

"Kim, we need to talk. What you did was serious and-"

Her breathing quickened, panic streaken.

"No, no! Never mind! Calm down It can wait!"

Kim couldn't calm down again as Charli's pained, horrified face flashed in her mind.

"Um!-" Lewis panicked, leaning to Kim and putting his right hand in her silky hair. He crashed his lips into hers, kissing her furiously. They slowed as Kim quickly calmed, moving to the rhythm of Lewis' lips. It was soothing and felt almost, homely.
Here we go again.
