"Lewis?" Hannah called anxiously from their bedroom.
"Just a second!"
Oh gosh... I don't know if I'm ready for this... Hannah thought biting her lip and waiting.
"Oh my, look how beautiful you look!" Lewis smiled, entering the room with a cheesy smile and kissing her cheek.
Hannah sat on the edge of their bed and tapped the space next to her. Confused, Lewis sat in the space and put his arm around her.
"What's up hun? It's not about the whole Kim thing is it?... I thought we were over that babe." Lewis spoke solemly, taking her dainty hands in his.
She shook her head. "No, but.. this could bring us together?" She mumbled, smiling out of the corner of her mouth. She exhaled deeply, grasping Lewis' hands as confusion washed over his face. She swallowed hard, pulling back her left hand and reaching deep into her pocket.
Lewis peered at her left, screwing up his face. "What is it?"
Hannah clutched the plastic object in her hand.
"Hannah what is it? Is it a present for me!" Lewis cheered, his silly smile broadening.
"Sort of." Hannah half-smiled. "Before I show you, I want you to know that however you feel about this, I will completely understand."
"Hannah I want to know!" Lewis chuckled as Hannah gazed down at her lap then back at his eyes that glistened with excitement.
She breathed deeply and slowly, slowly unfolded her hand, not daring to look at Lewis' reaction.
He sat speechless for a few seconds. To put it bluntly, he fainted.
