The sleeping experience: Meh

The food: Meh

The people: Meh

So far, Remus's opinion on the orphanage was, meh, but he'd only been there for six days, so he couldn't really judge. And every single day, he grew more and more anxious about Charlotte, and how the hell he was going to escape from this orphanage, and it wasn't as if he were going to confide in anyone about it. After all, this place was full of muggles, and if Remus told them about Charlotte, then he would also have to tell them about him being a werewolf, which would definitely go well.

The only thing that Remus didn't like was school. Everyone in the orphanage had to go to a little classroom in the orphanage and get taught by a tutor that Susan hired for each age group. Since Remus had never even been to a school before, he understood absolutely nothing. So, after the lesson, he went up to Susan, burst into tears and told her that he was still mourning the 'death of his parents' and couldn't concentrate on school. Susan, with her voice full of pity, said that he could take as much time as he needed.

Of course, all the boys in the dormitory gave Remus questioning looks when he told them why he couldn't go to school, some of them decided to call Remus out on lying (which was true, but Remus never told them that), some of them even went as far as to complain about it to Susan. When Susan questioned Remus about it, he burst into tears and watched in delight as Susan would yell at the people, who dare complain about Remus not doing school. This caused a bunch of people to not like Remus, or, just not talk to him.

The only person who really talked to Remus was Alex. When Remus told him why he couldn't go to school he responded with 'Oh! Your so lucky! Unfortunately, I didn't even know my parents, so no mourning for me!". That was when Remus started to question the sensitivity of  his new friend.

Finally, everyone was off the lessons and Susan decided to take the kids out to some place called 'Godrics hollow' which Remus was very excited about as he was relived to get out of that orphanage.

Godrics Hollow wasn't bad, it had little cottages made from mahogany wood and as Remus explored the place, people would chat to each other as though they had been friends for centuries. The atmosphere was so peaceful, it was vastly different from the depressing, bloodthirsty energy that the hideout gave, or the chaotic, indifferent energy the orphanage gave. Remus would have liked to live there.

"So, um what are we supposed to do?" Remus asked Alex, they were sitting on the steps of the church. There must of been a Mass in there as he could hear the faint sound of people singing.

Alex shrugged his shoulders, "Explore, I guess. I've been to this place a million times though, I can basically remember this place off by heart,"

"So, do you wanna do something, you know, other than sitting outside a church?"

Alex bit his lip, "Sure,"

They both got up and walked around Godrics hollow, talking about random stuff, they walked past the cemetery, which Remus found a little bit creepy,

"So, one time, about six years ago, I tried to prank Albert because he took away my comic book, I tried to-" Alex rambled on and on. Remus was only half listening. They came across and Remus stopped in front of the forest, it was so creepy, and the forest was so identical to the one that was close to the hideout,

"Hey Alex, I kinda wanna go to the forest," Remus said, he got not response but he figured that Alex would follow him in anyway. He walked in, the sticks crunching underneath his feet, the birds chirps echoed across the forest. It was so peaceful.

Remus was so engrossed in the forest, every thing was almost exactly like the one near the hideout, the trees were the same, the way the sticks and stones where scattered across the ground, even the way the birds chirped were similar.
