It was December 25th 1970.
Remus never celebrated Christmas, he wasn't excited about it. After all, no one here celebrated Christmas. Once again, Remus felt bored, he was sitting in the werewolf hideout, bored to death. His stomach was growling and he wanted something to eat so badly. But he knew he couldn't just ask one of the adults to give him some food.
He sat there for a while, hunger eating at his stomach, until he finally had enough. He went out of the werewolf hideout and crept silently past the other werewolves until he reached the thick dense of trees. He than ran into the trees and continued running in the forest. The farther I am away from the hideout the better, Remus thought as he ran. He didn't know if he was allowed to go away from the hideout, but he didn't want to ask.
After he was out of breath, he sat down on the snowy ground. Remus shivered. It was Christmas time and it was snowing. Luckily, the dirty clothes he was wearing were quite baggy, but that still didn't stop Remus from feeling cold. He panted as he sat, Now, where to go, Remus thought. Remus didn't actually know where he was going to go, he just ran out of the hideout.
There is a market no far away from here, maybe I could steal some food there, Remus thought, and he licked his lips at the thought of food. Remus stood up and he walked along the snow, his dirty shoes crunching the snow beneath his feet. He walked in the direction of the market but for some reason, he felt like he was being watched.
Just to be sure, Remus turned around and he saw Charlotte standing a few meters behind him. Rage filled Remus, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Remus shouted at her,
"I could ask you the same question," Charlotte responded smugly, and a huge grin spread across her face,
"Okay Miss Sassy," Remus said as he went towards Charlotte, "I was going to the market to steal some food because I am starving, happy?" Remus responded,
The grin vanished off of Charlotte's face, "Oh, I thought you were escaping,"
"Why would I escape?" Remus asked and Charlotte shrugged her shoulders, "And why are you following me?"
"I was bored and I noticed you going out of the hideout, I decided to follow you. And can we go back now? I'm cold," Charlotte asked, and she shivered. Remus wished he could go back, the hideout was at least warm, with many fires in it. But Remus still felt so hungry that he didn't want to go back.
"Well, you can go back if you want but I'm not going back," Remus said and he turned around to go,
"Okay, I'm coming," Charlotte said and she walked over to Remus, "But we better steal some good food, I don't think that my baggy clothes will keep me warm much longer,"

Remus and Charlotte finally reached the market. Snow was scattered across the ground and a giant Christmas tree stood in the middle of the market. Many Christmas decorations were hung across the shops and fairy lights were also hung on the shops. As Remus and Charlotte walked along the market, many people gave them suspicious looks. They did stand out a lot. While other people wore warm jumpers and jackets, all Remus and Charlotte were wearing was some dirty, baggy clothes. Luckily, all the people gave them were suspicious looks, they never talked to them.
Remus could see other people eating at different restaurants and for some reason that made Remus even more hungry.
Remus and Charlotte walked along some shops until Remus smelt some delicious aroma. Remus turned his head and saw a Bakery, it had cakes, cupcakes, croissants and other different pastries, lined up near the window. Remus's mouth watered, he had always seen cakes and cupcakes, but he had never tried them. His hunger seemed to get even worse,
