I have to remind myself to update on this book more often, I AM SO SORRY!!!

"It's just, that boy, he doesn't sit right with me,"

Remus rolled his eyes. He was so annoyed with him! Why couldn't that man just leave him alone? For the entire time he'd been at this orphanage, Albert been giving him weird, threatening looks, and it was getting on his nerves.

"Well, we do you want us to do? Kick him out? Make him live on the streets? No, he's going through a tough time right now, and besides, we're not going to do something about him just because you have a weird feeling about him,"

Once again, Remus wanted to clap for Susan right then and there, but, he couldn't because they thought he was in his bedroom, mourning, not sitting on the staircase eavesdropping on them.

"No, not like that, he just looks, familiar,"

"Don't bring that up again. You've been telling me how he asked you when the next full moon would be for days no-"

"No! I'm over that cause I know that I'm right. It's a different sort of familiarity, and it's been bugging me for a while!" Albert told Susan, almost yelling,

Remus heard Susan sigh as a jolting panic rose up inside Remus, what kind of new did Albert have to bring? Remus moved down one step to hear better,

"You know that couple that lost their son 7 years ago, the one we used to talk with until they stop talking to us cause of their son?"

"Oh, I feel so sorry for them, their boy disappeared without a trace! And he was so young-" Susan cried, pity and sorrow filled every word she spoke,

"I think Bobby is that boy,"

Remus could feel the shock that followed after that statement, the silence was thick in the air. Remus's heart rate quickened up as he froze on the staircase, his eyes wide.

Susan's laughter broke that silence, "Oh Albert! You know that a boy can change a lot throughout 7 years and the only photos they have of him is when he was 4! Besides, how would you possibly know?"

"Well, um, I just see it in his face, he kinda looks that those missing poster photos, well, if you study his face for long enough,"

"But that boys name was Remus not Bobb-"

"WELL I DON'T KNOW, I'M JUST GOING WITH MY GUT!" Albert shouted suddenly, making Remus flinch,

"Well...okay, we'll try to contact the  parents of the lost boy,"

"Well, it's going to take a while to contact them, cause I don't know where they live, but, I can do it, maybe by, tomorrow morning?"

Remus didn't hear the rest of the conversation as, with fear and panic rising up in him, he ran into the room and slammed the door.

*****

Remus stared up at the wooden boards from the bunk above him, listening to the snores of the other boys around him, the moonlight seeped through the window, which was the only source of light in this room. A million thoughts were running through Remus mind, mostly panic. He kept on telling himself to jump out of bed, run away, rescue Charlotte and go do whatever he wanted, maybe he would change his name and go to Russia, or maybe go to Australia and learn that he was actually really good at Quidditch and start a team called the Awesome Ants.

But, the doors that led to the outside were locked, and so was every single window in the place, and he didn't know were the keys were or how to escape without making noise.

Screw it Remus thought as he slowly crept out of bed, making sure the floorboards didn't creak too much as he slowly opened the door, he flinched every time the door would creak. He finally got out of the room and headed down the stairs, careful to not make any noise.

He got to the end of the staircase, holding his breath as he looked around, he had to get out now, but, how?

That was when a hand grabbed his shoulder and a shock that went through him like electricity made him turn around, through the dim light, he could see that familiar face of Alex.

"What are you doing here?" Remus hissed quietly, shaking Alex's hand off his shoulder,

Even though Remus couldn't see it, he knew that Alex rolled his eyes, "Well, the question is, what are you doing here?"

"Oh, I'm-" Remus began, but was cut off when Alex turned on a torch, illuminating his face, Remus could see that Alex's face was grave, and sort of, annoyed.

"Well, I was just, going for a walk, ya know?" Remus lied, thinking of a lie as quickly as he could,

"Sure, I like to walk around the orphanage in the dark at 2 in the morning, seriously, tell me what your doing,"

Remus sighed in defeat, "Fine, I was running away,"

That clearly wasn't the answer Alex was expecting cause he almost dropped the torch out of surprise, "Bu-, Wh-. Why?"

Remus scrambled for an answer "Oh, I'm not going to actually run away, maybe only for a little while then I'll come ba-"

"Lies. Your lying," Alex hissed, his face blank,

"No I'm not-"

"And that's another lie," he said, "I can't say I'm surprised you're running away. After all, you've been lying ever since you got here,"

"I'm sorry, what-"

"Your name isn't Bobby Findlestick, you're parents haven't died, you haven't been mourning your parents death when we have lessons."

"How do you know?" Remus asked, feeling it was pointless to disagree with everything Alex was saying,

"They taught me how to spot a lie, of course, I can't spot every lie, but, your terrible at lying so it made it easier,"

"Oh, um,"

"Yeah, I'm kind of proud of it," Alex said with a smirk, before that smirk turned into a frown, "I don't care that your running away, I'm not a snitch, but, obviously you can't run away on your own, and you need help, correct?"

Remus nodded,

"Okay, I will help you run away, but-"

"Okay, what do I have to do?"

"You have to tell me your real name, why your here, and why your running away-"

Remus opened his mouth, about to speak,

"But, no more lies,"
