Remus woke up.

His eyes slowly opened, his bones felt like they were going to dissolve, his head was dizzy as he tried to sit back up,

He looked around, eyes foggy, all around him was dirt, the scene was familiar, it was just like seven years ago.

Crap, Remus thought, he quickly filled with frustration, everything was for nothing, all that running around, stressing out, was for nothing. Sure, he got Charlotte out of it, that was something, however, he returned back here, maybe it was selfish to think that, but he couldn't feeling an pint of disappointment.

Well, at least he was back with the werewolves instead of with muggles, who'd hate him if they found out what he was,

But what about Alex? Another part of him retaliated, He took it well when you told him

Yeah, but, he's a muggle, he doesn't understand how dangerous werewolves are

Whatever, Remus thought, if he didn't leave the orphanage, he might have been reunited with his parents, the actually ones who would hate him, he couldn't forget what Fenrir had told him what his father said.

Speaking of Fenrir, where was he? Isn't he supposed to come punish him or whatever?

Remus lay down on the ground, a million thoughts running and collecting in his mind, one of the main questions he had asking himself was, what now? What would he do? I mean, he could just live here forever, just let everything he did in the past few months amount to nothing.

"Oh, you're awake," a deep, grizzly voice spoke a few feet away from him, a static of shock and fear rattled through Remus, he sat right back up and stood up, eyes wide, standing near him, was Fenrir Greyback. His yellow eyes looked sunken against his pale clammy skin, his greasy, stringy stuck to his face, a sicking grin spread across his face.

"Why do you look so scared? Don't worry, I'm not going to punish you or anything," Fenrir stated, walking towards Remus,

A little bit of tension left Remus, but his heart was still beating fast against his chest, sweat was starting to form on his forehead ,

"Really, then what are you here for?" Remus asked, trying to sound tough, but he sounded more like a chipmunk as Fenrir stared down at him,

"Well, I'm just here to talk," Fenrir simply stated, picking at his yellowing, blood stained teeth with his long fingernail, Remus wondered just whose blood was on his teeth, hopefully it wasn't what Remus thought, the thought made him sick, a whirlpool of nausea formed in his stomach.

"About what?" he asked, his voice shaking at the edges,

"What do you think? Gosh, you kids are all so stupid!" Fenrir snapped, Remus winced,

"Obviously about what you did! I'm not mad at you, I supposed you would run away at one point, although, I always knew you wouldn't last out there for a while," Fenrir commented, Remus was slightly offended that Fenrir didn't think he was very capable, it still seemed that after running away from him, Remus still yearned for his approval.

"Sure," Remus muttered,

"You know," Fenrir said, scratching the stubble on his chin, "I think you would have actually lived out there for quite some time, if you weren't so stupid enough to come running back,"

Remus was slightly surprised by this, his head shot up and he looked Fenrir in his eyes,

"Really?" he asked, a hopeful tone escaped into his voice,

"Mmhmm," Fenrir agreed, "I think you're actually quiet capable, well, far more capable than that other girl, what was her name,  Charlie? Oh, it doesn't matter. Anyways, I want you to stay here,"

"What?" Remus yelped, he really didn't believe he would get out of this without a punishment, "I don't want to!"

"It wasn't a offer," he said, cracking his knuckles, "Besides, you have everything you need, food, shelter, water, company, why wouldn't you want to live here? And besides, what would you do out there anyways? Live out on the streets? And you can't live with anyone too, they'll disown you once they find out your a werewolf, what did I tell you? Everyone hates us! You're better off here,"

Remus wanted to retaliate, tell him that there was one person who didn't judge him because of who he was, but Fenrir's words sunk deep, in truth, he did have no where he could go, his life was so much easier in here than outside, after all, he didn't do much here, and the outside was so much more stressful. Besides, everyone here shared one thing in common, they were all werewolves, there was no fear of judgement here, maybe everything would be better here. If he just stayed out of trouble, everything would be fine.

"Fine," Remus grunted,

Fenrir smirked, showing off his disgusting teeth, "Good," he said, before walking away.

Remus sighed and sat back down on the dirt, the frustration and disappointment was almost gone. Maybe everything would be better here after all.
