NATALIA POV
"I don't really care about my safety. I don't want you to get killed, Jason." I said. Tears began to stream down my face. I wiped them away angrily. Stupid emotions."Babe, dont cry." Jason whispered.
"Don't call me babe" I exclaimed.
I heard a female voice on the other end. It sounded like Jason's mom.
"You brought your mom with you?" I exclaimed. "what the-"
"Natalia, chill. I'm at home."
"Oh." I felt stupid for thinking he'd drag her into a dangerous situation.
He chuckled. "I'm safe right now."
"Not for long."
"I promise I'll make it back alive." he said sounding unsure.
"Don't make a promise you can't keep." I whispered.
"Sorry."
His mom said something again.
"I have to go." he said.
"Okay." I said not wanting him to go because it might be the last time is hear his voice. I trembled.
"I love you, Natalia" he said.
"...I love you too Jason." I replied.
"Goodbye." he whispered and hung up.
I pulled my phone away from my ear and stared at it helplessly.
I leaned against my bedroom wall, dropping my phone on the carpet and slid down laying my head in my knees and began to sob uncontrollably.
Someone knocked on the door.
I didn't say anything and continued to cry.
The door opened slowly.
"Natalia?" Alyssa.
I looked up at her.
"Oh my god, what happened?" she exclaimed and knelt beside me.
"I have to go home." I whispered.
