varrick no! pt2

When pema walked in time seemed to stop. Everything slowed except for korra who was mid flop. Everyone tried to speak at once to tell her what was going on but asami beat them to it.

"Varrick's new discovery somehow messed with korra's brain I think."

Pema looked more worried than anything and started asking questions.

"When did this happen?"

"How long will she stay like this?"

"She has training later today."

She started to sound more like ikki. Asami explained the best she could and offered to take korra with them until it wore off. Pema said she just wanted her home by 7 and left.

The krew got into the sato mobile and drove to the sato manor. Hiroshi was a business trip and wasn't going to be home for a few days.

Everyone walked in with bolin carrying korra who got tired of walking. He sat her down on the couch and looked away for two seconds to talk to Asami and mako. But that was all it took for her to leave.

The three turned their heads at the sound of something breaking. They saw korra picking up a table and everything on it falling to the floor.

Bolin ran and grabbed the table from her and turned red from strain as he put it down.

"I forget just how buff she is sometimes" he said catching his breath.

After a moment they realized something. Someone who could lift Tenzin and his entire family, bend and had amazing stamina was loose it the house.

When they saw korra stumble past asami she grabbed her and set her on the kitchen counter. Her legs dangled as she looked around.

She started humming all star when mako but his hand over her mouth.

"Stop or we will get copyrighted"

But before he could move korra licked hand in the most kid friendly way possible.
He pulled his a hand away with a face of disgust and rubbed korra's slobber on bolin's shirt.

The earthbender didn't seem to notice because something else caught his eye.

"Where did korra go?"

At the sound of her name she yelled "yaaasssssss?" from the top of the stairs. The three saw just in time for her to do a backflip down the flight of stairs and land perfectly.

Before they could relax for a second she was gone again. Asami felt hands on her shoulders and turned around to see korra looking at her like nothing happened.

The avatar picked her up like it was nothing and spun her till she was dizzy. When she was finally put down korra nuzzled her face into her chest and wouldn't let go.

That is until mako picked her up and unraveled her hands from the engineer.

Mako put on korra's favorite mover AKA shrek and sat her down on the floor. He then walked into kitchen to make them all a snack. He heard korra say something but didn't notice what.

"Shrek and fiona chose being ogres over being white" is what she said

✨a little bit later

Mako laid down on the couch after catching korra before she could fall on her face. Korra laid down next to him and mimicked his actions.

The spiritnip was starting to ware off more and it showed. Korra was less floppy and wasn't saying the most random thoughts.

Bolin looked at the clock and it read 6:30 they picked korra up at 6 and needed to start heading to air temple island If they wanted to get there on time.

The drive back was quiet since korra wasn't trying to mess around as much. By the time they got back korra was basically sober. Or at least enough for Tenzin not to say anything.

Korra had a light snack and went to bed early. All of the jumping around and scaring her friends probably tired her out.
