Ikki and Emery were walking around air temple island. It felt like a normal day if you called gay panicking everywhere you went normal.

At meditation Tenzin like something was slightly off. Like how he did when jinora met kai. His eyes opened and he quietly looked back at his kids. Meelo was actually meditating instead of sleeping, jinora was fine and ikki...

Ikki had a slight blush that went from one cheek to the other. Tenzin being the father that he was got back to meditating and put it in the back of his mind.

Later on however he walked with ikki as they had a normal talk about whatever was on their minds. Tenzin turned to his daughter and asked the question that was on his mind.

"So about this Emery girl"

Ikki froze and looked up at her father with a face that screamed 'I just pooped myself & 'this is VERY embarrassing'  she asked a question back.

"W-what about her?"

"I see the way you look at her ikki"

The girl almost broke down from how scared she was. Before she could do anything Tenzin continued.

"It's okay. I feel like I should be over protective about this but as long as she doesn't hurt you I'm fine with this."

"Really I kinda thought you would get mad"

"There is no reason to be. It may make me feel older knowing that you're all growing up but I will always love you no matter who you end up with."

After that sentence they hugged and korra shed a single tear and leaned against asami. She said something they made them both smile.

"It really does make you feel old. Watching them all grow up."

AN: I don't know about you but something about bolin being nuktuk never sat right with me. it kinda felt like when I saw the live action of atla and katara was white. (No racial or hate on the actress) it didn't feel right having a strong black woman white whitewashed. I think that's why I feel the way I do about nuktuk. Like that junks kinda offensive no 🧢
