Korra walked into the prison cell to see kuvira. Its something she started doing a little while back just to see how's she doing.

"Hey kuv how've you been?"

"Fine actually you know I thought it would be way worse but its getting better?"

Korra smiled at that. Usually when she came in the metal bender would sit in the corner and not say much. The avatar pulled a same chunk of metal out of her pocket and threw it.

Kuvira caught it and started making it into different shapes. The first being a cube and ending with a star. Korra watched her a made a bit of small talk about how repairs were going.

After around five minutes korra had to go back so she had to take away the metal. It floated over to her in the shape of a star and she went on her way. But before she could kuvira stopped her to ask.

"Do you think asami will ever forgive me?"

Korra winced and gave a honest answer.

"I dont know"

After closing the door she walked into the seating area and saw asami reading a news paper. Korra called out to her and they left side by side.
When the sun hot them korra started to talk about how it went.

"You know she asked about you"

Asami stiffened and continued walking while talking back.

"She needs to keep my name out her mouth"

Korra didn't say anything on that comment knowing she acted the same after Zaheer poisoned her. So she just spoke to see where this would go.

"You know after I talked to Zaheer I was able to begin to build back better. Maybe if you tried to ta-"

But before she could finish her sentence the engineer cut her off.

"Korra that was three years ago."

Korra stopped walking which made asami stop aswell. Tears began to well up in the benders eyes as she just stared back at her.

"So I should just suck it up right?"

Asami's eyes widened as she realized what she said. She didn't mean that.

"Wait no I don't know why I said that"

Korra blinked back tears and puffed out her chest showing her anger. How dare she say something like that?!?!

"Oh really!? Because that's what it sounded like to me. Do you seriously think that just because it was three years ago I got over it?!? It took me three years of going missing just to accept that it even happened! I was going to kill myself because of it! I haven't gotten over anything!"

With every word asami felt herself grow smaller and korra getting bigger. Korra kept getting louder until it was the only thing the engineer could her. When she did stop talking Asami could see just how hurt she was. There were tears streaming down her face and she was sniffling to try and hold everything back.

Asami tried to reach out and touch her but she started fire bending and flew away. All she could do was watch as she went farther away at high speeds. The non bender felt like crying herself. Why would she say something just that stupid.

She got in her car and drove in the direction of air temple island. Korra did fly in that direction but it would take a few hours to get there from where she was. So she put the keys in the ignition, wiped away her tears and drove.

About a hour later

When she stepped on the island she was greeted by bolin grabbing her and holding her face. What he said shocked the CEO.

"I saw the paper where's korra?"

They news spread that quickly without her noticing? She shook that off and became serious.

"I don't know. She flew off this way so I drove here."

"Well I just stayed here waiting for you and I haven't seen her... maybe Tenzin has."

They walked inside while asami explained what happened. pema who was washing dishes put them down and joined in the conversation.

"You said what?!? *deep breath* at least you know what you did was wrong. I'd hate to have to slap you with a shoe."

Tenzin ran in after hearing his wife yell and asked what all the commotion was about. After a brief examination she said that korra was somewhere near the cherry trees. Asami was nervous and asked what she should do and got the reply of.

"Look I'm going to say this in the best way possible. YOU started this mess now YOU are going to fix it."

She walked around the cherry blossoms amd looked around to see where korra was. She heard the beautiful voice that belonged to the avatar and walked to the sound.

"I guess I have to face that in this awful place I shouldn't show a trace of doubt. But pulled against the grain I feel a little pain. That I would rather do without~"

Asami looked around the trees but couldn't she the bender anywhere. But when she finally looked up she saw her forever girl holding a guitar singing with tears in her eyes.

"I'd rather be free~ freee~ freeee~ from here~"

The voice of raava mixed with korra's as they sang in harmony. But instead of commanding and booming it was soft and gentle. The engineer let out a little gasp and korra jumped higher into the tree curling into herself.

Asami saw this and realized what she needed to do. At first she didn't know what to say so she just spoke.

"Kor I'm sorry....I know what I said would hurt you and I wish I never said it to begin with. I just wanted to be angry and I took that out on you and you don't deserve that."

As she continued she spoke more and more from the heart. And korra began to slowly look at her. She gave a little sniffle and climbed out of the tree. Once she set her guitar down Asami's arms were wrapped around her in a bear hug.

The avatar, master of all four elements cried into her arms and held on as if when she let go asami would disappear. Asami cried aswell mushing her face into korra's hair to hide the tears.

"I'm so sorry korra I just wanted to be mad and I didn't think about you. I'm sorry korra I'm sorry I just miss him so much."

"Its okay its gonna be okay" Korra whispered back

She kept whispering it into her hair as they slowly began to sway with the wind. Little did they know that Tenzin and jinora made the wind so they would get closer together. Someone from one of the news agency's took a picture and wrote about how they made up.

Asami looked korra in the eyes and kissed her cheek leaving her red smudge that made the bender giggle. The two went back to sato manor and laid down and actually talked about everything that has happened and how it affected them.

They talked until they fell asleep holding each other and with smiles on their faces.
