*Next day* Y/N pov Its 8 AM and I am ready to work. Last nights events are still present in my mind but I know I have to forget them. I want to work for Five0 and there is no way this piece of shit McGarrett will take my job. I do my usual morning routine and head off to work I arrive at Iloani Palace just 45 minutes later and see that nobody is there. I start doing some left over paperwork I still had. At 9AM I get a call from the governors office.
D = Governor Dennings Y/N : SSA Y/N Brown with the Five0 TaskForce how may I help you? D : Y/N ? Its Dennings Y/N : Hey whats up why did you call? *in that moment I see Steve and Catherine entering the Headquarter. Wtf is she doing here?* D : I wanted to inform you that McGarrett came by this morning to ask for another badge because he wants to recruit a so named Lieutanent Catherine Rollins for Five0. I just wanted to inform you. Y/N : *That son of a bitch I think to myself* Oh okay thank you. Quick question. Can you send me her file? D : Ehmm I'm actually not allowed to do this but fine, for you I can make an exception. Y/N : *I see Steve waving at me to tell me we have a case* uhmm Dennings I have to go. We just got a case. See you bye D : Yes see you *I hang up the phone and leave my office to meet McGarrett and his new girl* Y/N : What do we have? *I ask without looking at him* Steve : 45-year-old Gina Travis was found murdered. Danny and Lou are at the crime scene and the others are talking to the family. Y/N : Cool. And what should I do boss? *I say annoyed* Steve : You can stay here with Jerry. Catherine will be my new partner. *he smiles proudly at her and she smiles back at him* Y/N : You know what? *I stayed with Jerry the whole day and ignored Steve the best I could. In the evening after the case was solved, everybody came back to the headquarter to fill in the paperwork* Junior : Hey bestie! *he gives me a hug* Where were you today? I missed you kicking down doors.*he smirks at me and I chuckle at his comment* Y/N : You should ask your boss that *I say annoyed and point at Steve* Steve : *he answers the question* Oh I replaced her with Catherine. Junior : Oh okay. Uhhmmm she will be my new partner if thats okay *he looks at me and I nod* Steve : Fine with me Y/N : Perfect I will see you guys tomorrow. *I start to make my way over to the glass door but stop when I hear Steve talking to me* Steve : Actually I wanted to aks if you can do mine and Catherines paperwork? We want to go on a date Y/N : *I look at him in shook and disbelief* First you won't let me go on the field and now you want me to do you goddamn paperwork? Are you serious? Steve : Uhmm yes I am. Y/N : *I let out a small chuckle and nod* Yes of course go and have fun on your date *I go to my office and start doing the paperwork*
*1AM* It's so late and I just finished this paperwork. I get outside the Headquarters and leave to my house. I arrive there at 1:30AM and go straight to bed*
