Chapter 6

*Next morning, 7AM*

*I start to wake up due to Steve playing with my hair. I open my eyes and see thst I'm laying on his chest. I smile to myself without him seeing and soon I look at him.*
Steve : Morning Agent *he smiles at me and stops playing with my hair*
Y/N : Morning Commander *I smile back at him* We still need to talk about how we will do it with me taking care of you. *I say without lifting myself up from his chest*
Steve : I mean... *he nervously rubs the back of his neck* you could stay at mine for the 4 weeks. I think that would be the easiest way. Of course only if you are comforable with that.
Y/N : Yes that would be okay with me. Do you-
*I get interrupted by Danny bursting through the door without knocking. I rapidly get up from Steves chest and sit up*
Danny : Oh my... I am so sorry. *he says turning around* Am I interrupting something?
*by the way he is talking I know he is smirking*
Y/N : Oh my god Danny. Noooo
Steve : Did you bring my breakfast ?
*Danny truns back around still smirking and I get up from the bed. Danny gives Steve the breakfast and he starts eating*
Steve : Did you bring what I asked for?
Danny : Of course I did *Danny hands Steve a small present. Steve looks at me*
Steve : Thats for you, Y/N *I take the present and thank him. I open it and see
Y/N : Thats my badge! *I smile at him* Thank you
Steve : I hope you say yes to work for Five0 again. There is no one more capable than you. Five0 needs you *he smiles at me and I can't say no. Five0 is more than work its my Ohana*
Y/N : Of course thank you Steve! *I give him a light hug and than turn to Danny and hug him too*

Danny : See, I knew she would say yes *he says to Steve and then turns to me* We have a new case by the way. I assume you will work until Steve gets released out of here. Am I right?
Y/N : Yes thats right.
Steve : Tell me about the new case. *he says with his mouth full of food*
Danny : Don't talk with your mouth filled with food. But to get back to the case. 35-year-old Clint Weston was reported missing yesterday at 5PM and the governor wants us to find him alive.
Y/N : Isn't that the new member of the governors employees?
Danny : Yes you're right. Thats why he wants us to solve this case. And we actually need to leave now.
Y/N : Before I can work I have to change. I will stop by my house and them come to Iloani Palace.
Danny : Perfect *he looks back at Steve who listened to our conversation* And you will stay here and relax okay?
Steve : Will do. See you this evening
*Danny smiles and leaves*
Y/N : I will stop by this evening and bring you some good food. Maybe Kamekonas ?
Steve : That would be lovely. *he smiles at me*
Y/N : Bye Steve and listen to your doctor. *I smirk at him knowing that he won't*
Steve : Will do. Stay safe!
*I just smile at him and leave his room. I get outside Tripler and call myself a taxi because I came with the helicopter yesterday.*

9AM
I changed at home and just arrived at Iloani Palace. I get inside and meet all the other guys*
Y/N : Hey guys! What do you have?
Danny : We have a good lead and found a witness who saw the kidnapping. Her name is Malia Kekoa. Adam talks to her right now in his office. *he points at his office and I see the witness talking to Adam. Looks like she said something important because Adam sprints out his office*
Adam : Guys we have a plate number. *he types it in the computer and we immediately get a name*
Y/N : Please tell me the car is not stolen and we have the kidnapper.
Adam : It is not stolen. We have them!
Danny : Alright, everybody buckle up and lets go. *All of is but Jerry get the bulletproof vests and guns* Y/N and I drive together, Lou, Adam and Junior you go together. Lets go
*We all get outside and start driving. We arrive at the supects home 30 minutes later.*
Danny : Everybody listen. Adam, Lou and I go through the front door. Junior and Y/N you guys st the back.
*we nod and take our positions. As soon as Danny gave the go we move in*
Junior : I will kick down the door. *he smirks at me and I remember the moment in the hospital*
Y/N : Oh you wish honey *I hear Dannys go and kick down the door smirking at Junior. He glares at me*
Junior : You are mean
Y/N : Sorry not sorry
*we move inside the house with guns risen. We soon find the suspect with a gun in his hands poiting it at the victim*
(Suspect=S)
S : GO AWAY AND LEAVE ME ALONE WITH HIM!
Y/N : You know we can't leave. Put the gun down *I say with a calm voice*
S : I SAID LEAVE *he gets angrier and presses the gun harder at the victims temple*
Y/N : Okay look *I take my hands up and put my gun back in my thigh holster* I put my gun away.
Junior : *whispers* What are you doing? Are you nuts?
Y/N : Trust me I got this *I whisper back* Listen here Mark. I don't know what you are going through or what this man did to you but killing the man will not help it.
S : You know nothin about me and my life. This man ruined my life. He took the job I wanted to have. I worked years to get the job. YEARS. And he just takes it.
*I see Danny and Lou behind the suspect and he gives me a sign to distract the suspect*
Y/N : I totally understand your point but this is no solution. I know the governor I will put in a good word for you.
*right after I finished my sentence Danny and Lou grab the suspect and easily handcuff him. Lou takes the gun and Danny takes Mark and they leave. I uncuff the victim from his chair and take him out the house. The victim gets taken to the hospital by an ambulance and we go back to Iloani Palace to do the paperwork*

5PM
*I finally finish the goddamn paperwork and start stretching in my chair. Two minutes later Danny knock on my door and comes inside my office*
Danny : I am going to get food at Kamekonas and than go to Steve. Do you want to come?
Y/N : Yes sure. Is someone else coming?
Danny : No just you and me.
Y/N : Okay let's go
*We leave the office and get in our cars. We drive seperately so we can go back home at different times if we want to*
*We arrive at the hospital at the same time and go to Steves room. Suddenly Danny stops me*
Danny : Before we go inside. Can I ask you a question?
Y/N : Yes sure. What is it?
Danny : Do you have feelings for Steve? *he asks me with a serious voice*
Y/N : What?! Why do you think that ?
Danny : Come on Y/N. I saw you this morning all cuddly and the way you looked at each other. I don't know how you look at somebody when you like them but I know Steves look. And he looks the way he did this morning. *I look at Danny with a shook expression bit I know that I need to tell him*
Y/N : Okay look. I will tell you but you can't tell anybody else. *I sigh* I think I like him but I don't know. I think it's a crush you know. I enjoy his company and it's always funny with him but I don't know if it could work out. I wouldn't say no if he would ask me on a date or something. God Danny... *I put my hand in my hair and brush it out of my face* I think I have some feelings for Steve.
Danny : *he smiles widely* I am so happy to hear that because Steve likes you too. The way he look at you and the way he talks to you. He feels the same
Y/N : Oh my okay ehmm maybe something will happen but I think now is not the best time. He is still injured and the words he said are still in my head.
Danny : I know what you mean. Let's go to his room now.
*we start walking again and soon arrive at Steves room get inside and get greeted by him with a smile.
He was happy because the doctor told him he can go home tomorrow morning. I will pick him up at 11AM and we will go to his house where I will stay for the next 4 weeks. We enjoyed the rest of the evening with him and steayed until a nurse had to kick us out. I arrive at my house at 11PM and get in bed right away. I hope I get at least 9 hours of sleep before I have to pick up Steve.*
