I remember those words
Lazily slipped,
Carrying a warm whiff from the past
Smelling of blood, sweat and tears
And I remember...
My deranged replies
Slurry with the swaying weight
As i willingly took the bait
Ensnared like an artless fool
While you stood there, perfectly coolEvery nasty tangle,
Of my emboldened hair
Shone with newfound freedom
Eager to be explored
Roughly pulled towards you,
I sighed against your fated face
Eyes brazenly taking you in
And a spell was cast
In that melancholy moment,
I knew that
It would hurt me to hurt you
