Courting Danger

Fury takes over
Driving me further and further
Tempting me to wage a war
Against those who dare cross my path
They shall crumble under my wrath

Duelling with harsh words
Again and again
Dancing on the edge of madness
And smiling dangerously at the devil
Who tries his best to tame me
Only to succumb
To my effortless charm

I ask myself
Why I dare to make fatal mistakes
With brazen words
Too wrapped up in the wonder
Too lost in the game
To realize that things
Would never be the same

Why I mess around a little too much
Just for a little touch
With danger's divine hands
He looks me in the eyes
Yet I shamelessly lead him on and on
Till he comes begging back
For more and more

Why I dare to experiment
With mystery minds
And then suddenly run away
When the walls close in on me
When I see things
I wasn't supposed to see
Why is it that I always flee?
Leaving a trail of chaos behind me

Why I chase new highs
When they always lead me
To troubled roads
Why I love courting danger
Unabashedly pursuing him
Till his lusty breath
Can be felt on my crimson cheeks
Till his luscious lips
Mold perfectly against mine
