Creatively callous in our ways
Murmuring sweet nothings
Tugging at my tear strung eyes
Till they burn for more
And still long for your sights galoreLoving you
Would be a blissful blunder
For yours is a soul unblemished
By my terribly twisted territories
Hush now
Don't say another wonderful word
Begging me to stay
Right awayI wonder if it's a crime
To be rightfully wrong,
Perfectly torn in half
Yet you hear my worn out apologies
Gracing you with nothing but sorry'sI wonder if it's a crime
To submerge your soul into mine
And make everything alright
Even if you wish to part
With my perfectly torn heartI wonder if it's a crime
Stringing along summery promises
Hoping they would fall in line
Yet we stubbornly say
"We will be fine"
