[Lucas's POV]
The Estate
I toss and turn on the ground, holding my fist in my other hand. This hurts like a bitch! I turn my head to see the stranger on one knee, screaming while staring at his already purple and swollen hand. "Since I passed this round and the last one I'm halfway through! Could I please get some time to properly recuperate from my wounds?", I ask of Thor. "That will have to be added to this list of things to discuss that we have. A few things need to be looked at beforehand so it'll be a while. Until then you're off the hook, but you can't leave unless you want to give up.", he responds. Great, so what do I do for probably 3 hours? Before I can drown myself in more thought, DJ starts speaking. "First thing's first, Carl needs a ride to the hospital and I have to go for a baby appointment already.", I look at the stranger who I feel I've deduced, "Hey, Carl! That's your name! You're having a fucking kid, D?!", I get a dirty look from Carl and DJ just smiles at me, "Hell yeah bro, I'm a dad! We're like, two or three months in, so it's still gonna be a while.", DJ finished. "Okay, well, get him to the hospital then. We still have some important matters to discuss so this will most likely take place without you or Carl.", Roger cocked back before DJ stares him down while walking out the door, daring not to say a word. They all disappear into the back room, leaving me alone with my worries.
