CHAPTER 39: The Hunt

Thor's House

"Why would you think that?", Ross questions, "Well," Thor begins, "to start off, your dumbass wanted to screw around with her while she was with Tat over here," he points at Tatsuya for a moment, "and she got offended and upset when she was caught being unfaithful. Then, she developed a bit of hatred towards Tat when he beat the brakes off of you, because boo fuckin' hoo, he did what I would've done, it's her fault anyways, and now I think she's giving Darwin and his pals plans to attack us, because I was called from a random number to get the tow truck you see outside, we're the only ones that are supposed to know about the shop we're doing, so tell me how they figured out if you didn't do it?", and once Thor got all of that out, I think he blew everyone's mind. "What?", he asks when he sees his whole clique, even me, giving him the "awe effect". "That was some pretty well thought-out shit.", Bryd and DJ say in unison, "Jinx! Double jinx! Triple jinx! Splish splash you owe me cash! Aww fuck it.", they said the exact same things at the exact same times again. It was pretty funny, even though it broke the seriousness. Thor brought it back when he called a private meeting with him, Clay, DJ, Roger, and all the girls. I don't know what they could be talking about. I sit and have a conversation with Xavier and Chuck about girls, video games, sports, and music for the time being. Eventually, they all come back out. None of the girls sit down, then Thor says, "Alright. If you were a part of that meeting, but do not wish to execute the plan, take a seat.", then the only girls standing are Lex, Chelsea, Beth, Nicole, and Bryd. Thor says, "C'mere sis.", and Bryd walks up to him, he writes a letter with no return address, and hands it to her. The five girls walk out and leave in only one car. I asked Roger what the meeting was about, and he strictly, yet firmly, responded with, "Interrogation.", so I'm guessing Adrian's about to get what's been coming to her. Clay joins in as the fourth man in our conversation while we're on the subject of the opposite gender. "So do you like anyone in the group Xavier?", Chuck asks, "Hell no,", Xavier responds, "I already got me a woman. Do you Chuck?", "I'd rather not say. Lucas wouldn't be very fond of it.", and then Clay looks at me, "And you Drake?", "Haha, funny guy. I plead the fifth.", I say and there's a bit of laughter among us. "You?", I say, shooting Clay's question right back at him. "Actually no. I haven't done much of anything with anyone since that redhead broke up with me.", I look at Xavier, because he has red hair, "Uh uh hell naw, me and Clay are straight. He was with a redhead girl that isn't in the brotherhood.", he says, then laughter again. Our conversation carries on about an hour, then we hear screeching tires.
