CHAPTER 23: Amber

DJ's House

We get to DJ's house, once there we walked into his garage to greet him. "'Sup D?", Clay said, "Aye DJ.", Lucas greeted DJ after Clay. DJ then responded, "Not much dude's, still working on Drake's car. Speaking of which, there's the guy. What's up?", "Not much, hanging out with the brothers.", I replied, "That's nice. You guys know Amber lives back there now, right?", he asks us, throwing his thumb back behind his head. "Yeah, we know. We're about to head over there, as soon as Drake's ready.", Lucas blurred out as a response, "I'm ready then.", I laughed out. We walked through DJ's yard and onto Ambers, "Hey Amber!", Clay greeted her because she came outside as we were walking up. "Hey Bubba!", she greeted him back, "What are y'all doing here?", I then looked at Lucas and he looked at Clay. "Not much, just making sure 'ole Drake here knows the ropes. Well, more like the houses but you get my point.", he says then chuckles. She laughs, and afterward asks if we heard about Adrian, that her and Tatsuya broke up. "Yeah," Clay began, "we eye witnessed it.", "You did?", Amber asked, "How bad was it? I haven't heard much about it.", then Clay seemed puzzled for a moment, then spoke, "Worse than you thought, I bet. Uhm, I was showing Drake where Ross lived, which his mom told us he was at Adrian's house to get something, which that something was her lips against his, because I caught them making out, then called Tat and he showed up, and knocked out Ross in 3 minutes and 12 seconds.", "Damn. Where's Ross at now?", she asked, "We don't know," said Lucas, "No one even gave him a lift home.", he said after laughing. "Well hell.", Amber said, "Yeah, it was pretty bad.", I say, joining in the conversation. DJ walks down here and hugs his girlfriend before standing by her side with his arm around her. "Don't be trying to jack my girl Drake, I'll put that dick in the dirt.", DJ said then lost control of his laugh box. "Nah, I'm not after anyone. Not yet.", I replied, then Lucas jumped in. "Well Blackburns mine so don't get no ideas boy.", he said jokingly, and I also heard Clay say, "Yet?", as if I knew when I was going to catch feelings for someone. "Well,", Clay said with a sigh, "I guess we'd better head out to Chuck's."
