CHAPTER 27: Xavier

The Estate

I get out of DJ's car along with him and the other two hitchhikers. Lex, Chelsea, and Clay pull up with Wavy by Ty Dolla $ign playing, that's like, Lex's favorite song. Nicole makes her way down the driveway, with Ross soon following. Everyone gets out and meets at the doorstep. "C'mon Thor, its 3:29 and you've got the key.", I look around and see that everybody's made it here except for Thor, Bryd, Danny, and I'm guessing Xavier. I wanna meet him, he's the only one I haven't met. Soon after, I see a Zonda R drift and perfectly fits into the last parking spot. Didn't scratch itself or any other vehicle. Chucks wristwatch goes off for the meeting as soon as the engine turns off. "Right on time boys!", Thor says while getting out of his suped up super car. Looking back at it he says, "Damn! I still can't believe I won that shit.", and DJ says, "Shut up and unlock the damn door. The lottery win of yours was two years ago, right after you got your license.", Thor squints eyes at him and unlocks the door, and everyone goes in but me. I stay back to meet Xavier. Danny get out of the Zonda, whistling at it as he passes by, then Bryd gets out, and taps the bumper with her knuckle as she walks by, then a slim, short, underbited ginger gets out, eyeballs me, and says, "Drake.", rips his shirt off, then takes a dash towards me. He tackles me and he's on top of me, throwing punch after punch, meaning for me to feel pain with every hit. I get flashbacks from all those years of this happening to me at past schools, so when he's off I try to crawl away from him, "Get up! On your feet dickhead!", he yells at me. Once he realizes I don't wanna fight, he turns me around, grabs me by the shirt, and continues furiously hitting me in the face, neck, head, throat, and chest, I'm bleeding from my left ear, nose, and mouth, and I'm crying. He has no mercy. He stands up again, "Stand up!", he yells again, louder this time. I then get a recent flashback, when I sparred Lucas, I remember Clay very vividly, "Get back up and knock the piss out of him!", I stop crying, stand up, then hook him with my right, gut punch him, then uppercut him to put him on his back, when I go to get my revenge, Thor shoves me so far back I trip over nothing and end up on my back. He then stands Xavier up, then me, and asks one question. "Why?", "I was winged, that means you get to skip the beating, right? Danny still kicked my ass in the meeting room and Lucas and Clay had to get him off me and yell at him to tell him I'm winged, yet he gets winged and Danny don't do that shit, so I did.", Xavier replies. "Wow, you're still holding a grudge about that?", Thor asks, "Not anymore.", he says as he grabs his shirt and walks in the estate.
