The Garage
"Duke!", Thor yells, "No, no, no, no, no! Someone call an ambulance! His head is bleeding!", I get on that quicker than anyone else. I tell them our address and that we needed cops, an ambulance, and firefighters. "Someone find Danny!", Nicole screams as Joyner dives into the smoke. "Over here! I was talking to the neighbors to see if they saw anyone over here before we got here!", Danny yells from down the street. "The neighbors are a good 10 minute walk, why didn't you drive?", Thor asks, "Well I didn't think we'd have a fuckin' explosion!", Danny says, out of breath, and Joyner jumps out of the flame, with half a shirt on. They kneel down together to check Roger. "He's breathing but there's a lot of blockage. We're gonna need two ambulances.", he says. "No we won't.", a paramedic says, getting two gurneys out. "Get them on, we'll run tests on the way!", they say as they leave. We see the ambulance leave and everyone checking on the equipment. Nicole starts talking to the police as the firemen prepare their hoses. "3! 2! 1!", They say in unison before water sprays all over the Garage. "Will you give us a ride to the hospital?", Thor asks with Nicole and Danny behind him. "Nicole says she will but she's too freaked out.", "Yeah, let's go.", Thor drives back to the Estate in Nicole's car, then we get in mine and I fly with hazard lights on. When we finally arrive Thor runs as fast as he can to the front desk, and he begins speaking incoherent to me due to the distance we are apart. I keep jogging with the other two and I see Thor hold out his hand and I hear Duke's name. "D.O.A.... I'm so sorry.", the lady says. "Damnit!", Thor yells as he throws his phone across one of the hospital hallways.
