CHAPTER 109: DJ's Arm Cast

The Estate

After running up to the stand, DJ quickly announces that he was about to take off his cast on the broken arm he received from Thor. He wished for everyone to sign it, so we all comply. After signing his cast, everyone splits into different groups. Some stay to meet Carl, others scatter to different rooms throughout the Estate. A few people went back to the garage to work, but I approached Xavier. "Hey man, what happened out there?", I ask. He responds, "Thor met me out back and asked me about the day we all fought each other.", I respond, "Yeah?", he continues, "He threatened me about ever hitting his sister again. I told him I didn't hit her and he said a slap is the same difference. I don't understand why she couldn't have said something to me.", "Well I sure hope you didn't lie to him again, Xavier.", says Clay as he's approaching us. "I told him I thought it was Tat.", Xavier admits. "How? You guys were even on the same sides. You really didn't think that through.", he responds. Xavier points to his obviously bruised jaw, "If you can't tell, Thor caught me in the lie.", "Well, most I can say is sport it if you caused it homie.", Clay says. "So what will we do about Lucas?", Xavier asks. Clay responds with "I don't know, that's still something Thor and I need to discuss. I want to convince him to let me take matters into my own hands. I want to at least fight him. He couldn't even take me in a spar. Plus he was probably plotting against us, or selling information." Xavier nods. "I've been feeling very down about the things that have happened this week. I need you guys to keep me in your thoughts if you would.", "Yeah man, always!", Xavier and I respond in unison. I break the sad silence that was forthcoming to us. "I'm gonna go meet Carl. Have you met him yet?", "No," Clay starts, "I have to as well. I'll go with you."
