BELLA WALKED INTO THE OFFICE and went to the break room to grab a cup of coffee. she wasn't a big coffee drinker, but after living in new york for 4 years and constantly staying up late finishing assignments, she had a cup every now and then. as she made her coffee, jenna walked into the break room as well.
"good morning, sunshine." jenna smiled as she grabbed a snack. "you're bright and early."
"i'm exhausted." bella said. "but on the bright side, it's almost friday."
"you and johnny have plans this weekend?" jenna said as she grabbed a water bottle from the fridge.
"not that i know of. he probably has something planned but won't tell me." bella chuckled. "we'll probably end up going to the beach or to a party one of his friends is throwing, i don't know. why? do you have anything in mind?"
"i was gonna head to new york for the weekend, but the girls invited me to palace." jenna said. "i was gonna ask if you wanted to come with, but i didn't know if you and your boyfriend had plans."
"i'll see what i can do, because after you took us clubbing in new york, we were exhausted." bella teased. "i still can't believe you took us to 54. i thought they weren't gonna let us in."
"it was either one of two things ; one, my mom was a regular back in the 70s glory days or two, the bouncer saw your boyfriend and just had to let him in." jenna laughed as she walked with bella back to their cubicles.
"you really think that's why the bouncer let us in?" bella laughed as she sat down and placed her coffee to the side.
"hon, have you taken a good look at your man?" jenna laughed. "blonde, tan, fit as hell, baby blues; you've got the whole package. its kinda hard not to fall for him."
"oh shut up!" bella laughed as jenna sat on the side of her desk. "yes he's gorgeous, but i guarantee you that wasn't the reason we were let into studio."
"i'm joking!" jenna laughed. "my mom really was a regular. she knew her way around the club and the owners. anyway, if it weren't for that night, you and i would not have made it here."
"you're right." bella sighed as she took a sip of coffee. "it was a great night and a great birthday. i don't remember much but, i do remember dancing the entire night then waking up, tangled up with johnny."
"you see? it was a great night." jenna smirked as she took a sip from her water bottle. as bella took a sip for her cup of coffee, the phone began to ring in a cubicle nearby. "tina! the phone!"
