~Death is so unfair. It comes to those who don't need it. But not to the people which asking for it. -Yuu Otosaka~

This world was filled with concepts, humans, objects, which I'd consider beautiful and ugly at the same time. This village was a good example. Such unique inventions, so many strong Ninjas. That didn't make up for all the corpses, the sacrifices. Most importantly, the ugly scars, which I received from this shit hole. Physical and mental scars. I still considered it my home.

This would change today. I was leaving. Attempting to start a new life. My body was covered by a black cloak, while a mask kept the world from seeing my face, from identifying me. My red eyes stuck out through all of this. On my back was a sharp katana. Ready to murder whoever threatened the achievement of my goals.

My now stretched out arm was meant to be taken as a sign. A crow landed on it as if my arm was the branch of a tree. She awaited a command. "Check around if someone is near the gate. Give me the signal, if you find someone." I told the crow, she flew away without making a single sound. I kept on walking, waiting for a signal which never came. Who would have thought that it was so easy to flee.

I was so wrong. It was idiotic to think that it was easy. The earth underneath me trembled. My reflexes kicked in as I jumped away. Then I noticed him. A small man with blue eyes. These eyes were filled with hatred, with greed. The greed to keep me here. His white hair exposed his age. What a shame that he didn't die yet. I did the only right thing. My katana was pressed against human flesh, no the flesh of a god. It was pressed against me. I smirked, knowing that I was going to win.

"Y/n. Put the katana away." He demanded, nearly yelling. No. No way. I had to achieve my dream. Whether that was by leaving this village or dying. It didn't matter as long as I was the one winning. "No." For once I refused to follow his orders. The little pathetic man - who I once called leader - didn't notice the wound on my palm. He didn't notice it, until it was to late.

A drop of my blood entered the earth. The katana fell to the ground as I started to approach him. My hand formed a fist. I tried to punch him right in the face. He dodged, catching my fist. At first, he was able to hold it. But the earth creeped up his leg. It took him by surprise. He fell slightly backwards, not being able to hold my force anymore. I moved behind him. Now I kicked him. He hit the ground, turning onto his back. The old man stopped my leg from stepping on him. But I overpowered him.

He could have easily won if he would have noticed my blood. If he noticed the red spot on his skin. I had control over his body. Therefore, he couldn't use genjutsu to beat me. To make me suffer again.

Now my foot landed on him. I stepped on him as if he was a pathetic bug. He was beneath me in so many ways. I loved it. He was inferior to me. We both knew it was the truth. My earth held him in place as I stabbed him. Once, twice... Maybe even three times. It didn't take long for him to die. I regretted not killing him in a more painful way.

Either way, I was left with no other choice. I had to kill him, quickly. Or else he may stop me by calling more Ninjas. The caw of the crow let all my disappointment and all the thoughts disappear. I must leave immediately.

One step after another. The ground underneath me seemed to be shaking, in reality it was my body that couldn't keep still. My right leg was over the line. A line which separated freedom and suffering from each other. For once I was on the side, which promised freedom. I turned around to look at the village once again. Meanwhile the crow flew on my shoulder.
