~You don't need to blame yourself just because you've hurt someone, just like when you're walking you can't really blame yourself to crush some ants. - Shuu Tsukiyama~

Today was exhausting. You had to deal with whole Akatsuki, while Itachi had to "work". Therefore you were in your bed, about to fall asleep. A knock stopped you from doing so. With much hope that it wasn't a Aiko or Deidara with too much energy, you stood up to open the door.

In front of your door, Itachi, looking more tired and paler than you remembered him to be. "Mind if I sleep with you?" Itachi asked, sounding pretty tired. You bit your under lip, so you wouldn't burst out laughing, as you shook your head. Taking a step back you let him enter your room. "Stop." he demanded, walking past you.

He sat down on the bed, leaning against the wall. You copied his movement, sitting right next to him. The tired man let his head fall on to your shoulder. "Tired from your mission?" You wondered. Itachi only nodded. "Then let's sleep. I'm tired too." Ready to get up, he stopped you. "Wait. I wanted to give you something." He took out a box and handed it to you. You opened it, inside was a necklace with an pendant. You recognized it as the Uchiha symbol. "Thank you, love." You smiled at him, caressing his cheek. Itachi just nodded, patiently waiting for you to put the box on your desk, so you could finally get some sleep.

Aiko opened the door in hope of you being awake. Since this was not the case, you woke the moment she threw the door open. "Sorry! It's urgent." You sighed, barely comprehending her words. Standing up you cursed under your breath. After a quick stretch, you walked towards Aiko to shove her outside, before Itachi could wake up too. She lead you outside. Outside Puppy awaited you. You frowned, wondering what her understanding of urgent was. Before you complain, step back and watch." Aiko spoke, signaling the wolf to do some sort of trick. In less than ten seconds Puppy grew. He was humongous, massiv. Taller than the trees.

Accepting the fact that you were too tired to be in such situation, you mumbled, "Yeah, urgent." You turned around, so you could walk back to the hideout. "Aren't you going to say anything?" Aiko catched up to you. "Later." She sighed due to your reply.

Back at the hideout, there was no time for you to cook breakfast, since Pain called you all in for a meeting. "Who will be going?" The orange head asked. "I'll let fate decide if you can't." He added, being used to all of yours not existing motivation. "Me!" Aiko yelled as she turned to Deidara, "Go on. You were the one, who brought us into this mess." She tried to stay quiet, while shouting at the blondie. "It wasn't my fault!" He shouted back. Pain sighed, "What happened this time?" The two avoided his gaze.

Af few days back, Aiko asked you for money to get some puppet tool replaced. With that you found out about her and Deidara accidently blowing up one of Sasori's puppets, completely ruining a part of it. Sasori would murder them if he'd find out. Feeling responsible for their safety, you spoke up, "I guess, I could tag along. After all, it was me, who destroyed Sasori's puppet. They're trying to protect me, you know?" You leaned back in your chair as Itachi tensed up. "Excuse me?" Sasori turned to you, not hiding the fact that he was angry. "Ah don't worry! I'll get it fixed." There was a bright smile on your face. Sasori rolled his eyes. "I will come too." Itachi spoke up, breaking the tension between you two. Pain nodded, dismissing all of you.

You jumped up from your seat, being the first one leaving. Then you noticed the two troublesome teens running after you. Since you were kind, you waited for them to catch up. "Thank you for taking the blame." Deidara bowed down a bit. "You owe me something. I have this feeling I will end up as a puppet." Not that you were scared, but something about Sasori creeped you out. "Oh we got your back!" Aiko pat your back reassuringly.  A silence followed as Sasori passed by. He glared at you. "I'll be at the training field!" Aiko exclaimed, running off. "I'll go to sleep." Deidara followed your student.

A few hours later, you arrived at the meeting spot. The three of you had to wait for the Ninjas, who you would help with the mission. You leaned against a tree. Meanwhile, Aiko and Itachi sat on the ground. A somewhat serious conversation was going on. Said conversation stopped as a familiar chakra took your attention.

"They should arrive any second." Aiko spoke, looking in the direction of the chakra. You nodded as your current teammates stood up. "Who do we have here? Uzumaki Y/n, the worst of them all." A very annoying voice broke the silence. This was already a pain.
