Well it was that time of the week. A shopping run. Since George and Dream had already gone their turns it was my turn this time. I really didn't mind because it gives me the chance to meet fans but the activity itself was a boring topic to even think about.
Nonetheless I grabbed the grocery list that had been made by all three of us, grabbed my keys, wallet, mask, phone, and headed out to the car. George and Dream were streaming so I didn't want to interrupt them during their session.
I get into my car and double check that I have everything while putting my seatbelt on, then starting up my vehicle and pulling out of the driveway. I turned up the radio and jammed out to some pop songs that had gain popularity. I had to admit, they weren't all that bad.
Pulling up to the local Walmart I found a nice parking space near the front of the store and parked. I unbuckled and took the keys out of the ignition as I opened my door. While stepping out I saw an older women in her car behind my car on the road. I took note of how weird it was but I kept to myself as I put on my mask until..
"Excuse me sir?" The lady asked in a bittersweet tone, clearly wanting my attention.
I looked over to her, "Uhm yes? Can I help you ma'am?"
She nods and takes off her big round sunglasses. "I have kids in my car and I wanted that parking spot so that my kids didn't have to walk far but you cut in front of me. Can you please move to a new parking place?"
I looked at her dumbfounded. Was she stupid or just entitled? I shook my head and closed my car door, locking it after doing so.
"That's not how it works. Sorry but your gonna have to find a new parking place" I said as kindly as possible but I really didn't have the patience for these type of people.
She scoffed and flipped me off as she drove away. Grumbling about how some people have no respect for mothers these days or some shit like that. I just rolled my eyes and started heading inside the store.
"Some people.." I mutter as I pull out my list, grabbing one of the grocery baskets.
I started walking down the aisles and putting some things in the basket every now and again. The lady had slipped from my thoughts until I saw her down the nail and beauty aisle with her 2 little gremlins. I didn't pay them any mind and looked at the nail polishes as I needed more black and maybe try out a new color.
I picked out a cheep brand of black nail polish and a orange-y red colored polish when I heard one of the gremlins speak up.
"Mommy look, that man is getting nail polish so does that mean I can get some as well?" The little boy asked his mom, pointing over at me.
