(what Jean looks like when y'all dating)   

side note: HQ=Headquarters* 

I got off my horse as Hange and everyone else followed me into the HQ. I went directly to my room to clean myself of the titan blood and dirt. I sat down on the chair where my desk was. Just as I was about to take a look at the tall pile of paperwork, Hange walks in.

"Hey Levi!" Hange said, as she walks in. I glare at her for not dusting off her boots before coming in. "Oh sorry sorry," Hange proceeds, dusting off her boots as the same time. She then walks in and hands me some more paperwork.

"Anyways, how you feeling? Remember anything about the necklace so far?" Hange asks me. 

"No. I can't remember anything. I just know that it is something important to me. Every time I look at it, it reminds me of someone. It's like the necklace is telling me something," I say, while taking it out from underneath my uniform to peek at it. "Are you sure you saw nobody with me when you saved me?" 

Hange sighed before saying, "When I arrived, I only saw you laying there, looking like a dead person. I went closer to see if you were dead or not only to find out you hit the side of your head onto a big ass boulder. I bought you back to the medic room and they said you hit your head hard enough for you to lose your memory temporarily," Hange replies, while shrugging her shoulder. "but, I did see someone from a distance. It looked like a tall, young boy. But I didn't get to see too closely as he left quickly."

"Thank you... Hange," I reply while looking down at my hands.

"Hey, what are best friends for?" Hange says chuckling as she leaves my room. I was quite glad to have Hange as one of my close friends ever since joining the Survey Corps. She is one of the few that I trust wholeheartedly because she saved me.

Ughhhhh fuck! My head! It's getting harder to remember anything prior to the accident. I only managed to catch a small glimpse of his face before passing out completely. I groan as I touch my forehead in the area where I got hurt. I pry my hair open and look at that old scar in the mirror. Tsk. I will return the same scar to the one who gave it to me. I promise!

I got up, washed up, then worked on more paperwork or the rest of the night.

Y/N's POV*

We all stood outside the gate, waiting for it to open. Whispers filled the air as we wait. It was going to be a great first day in the Survey Corps. 

flashback to the day when when y/n and Jean went out on their date*

"Hey Jean.....I have something to tell you," I said while looking up at him.

"What's up babe?" he askes, while shifting his gaze to look at me.

"I was talking to my mom about it this morning.... I've decided to join the Survey Corps and not pursue medicine..." I concluded.

Jean looked at me for a bit and then chuckled. "Really, babe? You want to join the Survey Corps?"

"Yes. I've decided," I said. 

"That's great babe. I was gonna tell you something too actually," Jean said, while scratching the back of his head.

"And what is it babe?" I ask him.

"I'm joining the Military Police," Jean says. 

My eyes widen as I was in shock. WHAT? I almost choke on my drink. "I thought you were taking over your father's business?" I ask him, clearly confused.

"No, I didn't want to anymore. It's just not for me anymore," Jean says while taking a sip of his drink.

"Well, as your girlfriend, I'll support your choice. I'll miss you lots," I say while holding his hand. Jean puts down his drink and holds my hands with his hands as we interlocked our fingers. He pushes our foreheads together. "I love you baby. I'll come visit you whenever I have the time," Jeans says, while releasing one hand to caress my cheeks and stroking it with his thumb.

I love you too, my dear Jean boy ~

(flashback ends)

The doors open and I immediately see a bunch of people in the survey corps uniform. We all walked in and saw someone standing there with her hands folded back behind her back. A female, who looks like she is in her late 20's. We quickly lined up in a single neat row and wait for announcements. 

"Hello new cadets!" Her voice boomed over the entire HQ. "My name is Hange Zoe. I am your section commander. You can call me Commander Hange, or just Hange. Do as you please. I like to welcome you all to the Survey Corps. I'm going to be straight-forward; I know you all are aware that as soon as you step foot into this place, your life will not be yours. You have made the choice to make a contribution to humanity. I do not by any means want to scare you guys, but  just want to be blunt with you all since we will be working together. Anyways, I do not want to say too much to overwhelm you guys since it is the first day so this will be it for today..."
