Time-lapse: 4 days

I felt a little calmer after giving the police a place to start but I felt paranoid about everything. I looked around almost franticly whenever I was alone or I think I hear weird sounds. Nights in our big, spacious, and echoey home is really scary and creepy. I sleep tucked right next to Mason. Zena is right next door so we can hear her if she screams. Maybe this whole thing was some kind of cruel joke. Maybe it was one of the neighborhood kids trying to scare me for some fun. A bad prank this was.

I sit at the kitchen island as Mason cooks me some fried eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns. The delicious aroma made me almost lightheaded. I clap giddily when he places the beautiful plate of food in front of me. He chuckles as I dig in. Nearby, Zena chats on her phone with a friend. She had just celebrated her 10th birthday and had requested a phone. It made me glad that she had already made new friends in the new nieghborhood. We had just up and moved without really thinking it would affect her. At least Ms. Ericka and Esmee came over often. I smiled at her over my plate of food and was rewarded with a huge and beautiful smile. I seemed to be loving her deeper and deeper every day.

"Ebony I have to go to the Office I have an important meeting. You want to come or are you staying?" Maon asked me as he grabbed his suit jacket. His white collard shirt pulling taut against his muscled chect. I looked over at Zena. " I should probably stay I don't want to leave Zena by herself and If I take her to the Office sh is gonna get bored." Mason nodded. He kissed my cheek and went over to Zena.

"Bye Mija!" Mason whisperd into Zenas ear. She hugged him tightly and whispered her bye. Adorable. I finished my plate 10 minutes after Mason left. I immediately felt so sleepy. A product of baring a child. I waddled to the theatre and sat on the long couch. I head Zena coming behind me. She turned on the tv and put it to one of her shows. I fell asleep before the intro could finish and the show could start.

Time-lapse: 5 hours

I wake up to the sound of the door opening and Zena saying thank you. I get up as fast as my rotund body would let me and waddle to the front room. The smell of fresh pizza reached my nose and I couldn't contain myself. I felt the urge to do a little happy dance. Zena looked up as i came over. " Where did you get the money from baby?" I asked her. " My allowance money. You were talking about eating delicious supreme veggie pizza in your dreams and it made me hungry as well so I order for you and me and whoever wants to eat." She gestures to the 3 large pies of pizza. I smiled at my daughter. "Thank you so much for being so thoughtful. Baby you can go get 60 dollars from my purse and you can keep that. Thanks for the pizza babe!"I hugged Zena and went over for some pizza. The doorbell rang as Zena bounded up the stairs she turned to go get it but I told her I would.

I put my pizza securely in a tissue so that it didn't drip. I enjoyed it as I waddled to the door. I almost gasped when I saw the person standing at the door. Lily. Mason's sister who HATED me, Or use to, maybe it's a soft dislike now. I don't know. She smiled a small smile and then she came forward and hugged me tightly. She started to rant. " I'm so sorry for not ever liking you Ebi. You really make my brother happy and I have to be the most Selfish person to ever live to want my brother to give you up. Because if you guys were ever to break up it would be our loss. My mother LOVES and APRECCIATES you SO much. MORE than ME! And that is SO embarrassing. I came to take some notes and be your friend because I see that everyone you speak to LOVES you, unless if they are blind. Also sorry for what my dad did. He's in the nursing home now. You don't have to worry. "

Lily hugs me tightly again. "May I come in, please? I totally understand if you don't trust me." She looked a little hurt when I hesitated. " YOu can come in LIly only if you promise to be as nice as you can and never be mean to me or my family again." Lily nodded her agreement. "Yes, of course, yes, yes." I waved her in and pointed to the boxes of pizza. " Have some pizza will you? And come let's talk. This is how a relationship between sister inlaws should be like." Lily grabbed two slices of pizza and sat across from me on the kitsch island.

Time-lapse: 20 mins

This bitch was lonely as hell and depressed. She started to tear up a little when she was speaking. She felt like her brothers were the ones whose opinions mattered since forever. But then that started to change. Around the time I started to interact with the family, the attention moved from her and went to me. Which she HATED. wow. I'm about to respond when the doorbell rings. Lilly gets up to get it, telling me to sit down. " Girl your wth child, sit your ass down, this is a part of why I am here. I'll get the door." Lilly skipped to the door. I saw her bend down and retrieve something.

"It's a letter for Ebony!" I felt my breath seize. " Read it for me I can't bear to touch it but I want to know what is inside." She looked at my face and paused. "Hey are you okay?" she started to tear the envelope open. "I'm gonna read it now." Her voice trembled a little making it known that she had already read the page to herself.

Ebony's letter:

" Hi again Ebony, Thought I was gone? Never. Never will I leave without fulfilling my promise to myself. I will take your husband and keep your unborn child. Maybe Zena will do... if the baby doesn't make it, in my attempt at ending you. Patience is something I am good at, patience is key for me.

I felt my blood start to chill. " No. No. No you guys can't stay here!" Lily shrieked. " Come on, come on. pack some clothes come to stay with me! you are in danger we have to take this to the police!" Lily ran upstairs and came back down with a hand back she dropped my slippers in front of me and made me wear them. Zena also had a packed bag. Lilly grabbed a big plastic bow. She dumps all the pizzas in there and hands them to Zena. " Go sit in the car okay Nina?" Zena nods and walks off quickly with her bag and the pizza in tow.

Lily grabs my bag and holds my hand "Is there anything else you want me to get?" Lily asks me. I nod. " I really love my ice cream." She dashes to the kitchen and opens the freezer. I clutch my phone tight in my hands. She places my ice cream in my other hand and grabs my bags. We leave quickly not even bothering to lock the door.
